Target Population Bill discussion

I would suggest to President that a law be passed which would state mandatory discussion of any bill before passing with the target group ( law caters to). For example, if a law has to be made for farmers, it must be discussed with the farmer associations before passing the law in parliament. The purpose of this suggestion is that the laws favoring the target population are passed for the upliftment of all sections of society.

In 2020, we have seen that our central government passed a few laws for farmers and after passing the bill, farmers started protesting and they continued to protest for about a year during which more than 700 farmers were killed and then later government withdrew the laws. So the net result was the loss of human lives as well as resources.

However, my suggestion is only for civil matters and not for criminal laws. The criminal must be harsh enough to stop all sorts of crime in our country. Moreover, in civil matters interests of the government must be upheld by the government themselves like tax rates, etc.

Toll-free Anti-corruption Numbers

Corruption is a grave crime that is deeply rooted in our society. To make this country corruption-free, stringent measures must be taken by our country. Making toll-free numbers catering to corruption-related matters public in all the districts of our country. Making district magistrates accountable for accountability of the calls received and thereby creating a chain. In this way, every official/officer involved in maintaining the chain will work under supervision from bottom to top. Making monthly review meetings at district levels to access the result of calls received. So a proper check is kept on every citizen and all citizens are empowered to register complaints therefore a strong message would go throughout the nation and corruption would be dramatically plummeted.

No corrupt politician policy

Politics and politicians are the pillars of a nation. I would suggest our honorable President pass a law that states conditions for citizens to qualify as a contestant in any election in the nation. My suggestion would at least focus on three parameters. First, to submit a nomination form, a candidate must be at least a graduate at the time of filling nomination form. Second, there must be no corruption or any criminal allegation for which an FIR is lodged in any police station or court of the country. Third, no pension for politicians having served the nation for less than five years at least.

The reason for putting forth these suggestions is sound. In our country, we have politicians who are illiterate and after becoming members of legislative assemblies, members of parliament, or ministers, they start misbehaving with educated officers/officials and citizens. Education teaches us the basic entities of life. So minimum basic education is mandatory.

Most of the politics in our country have serious allegations ranging from murder to rape etc against them. Once they are in power, they pressurize the police and judiciary to reject the cases by forging the documents.

Third, politicians in our country keep on getting pensions even if they are voted to power only for one day and also get multiple pensions forgetting elected multiple times. So my suggestion is directed at that context.

Revocation of previous cryptocurrencies bill

I would suggest our honorable President revise the previous bill that was passed in 2020 according to which investors had to pay a 30% tax on the profit earned in cryptos and 1% TDS for every transaction (buy and sell). Moreover, there is no compensation for loss whatsoever is the cause .so iw would say that currently, our country has an Anti-crypto law in place. I would suggest adopting crypto-friendly laws in the nation so that vast strata of the population are attracted to the digital currencies market.

Conclusion

We hypothesize a situation where I am given a chance to meet honorable President of my country and make some suggestions. In this connection, my suggestions are directed at the larger interest of our country. I want the laws of our land to be a citizen-friendly, corruption-free country, with politicians with a clean history and crypto-friendly laws.
