I remember when I was little, my mother always screamed from her room every time I ate guava, especially guava.

Agam, don't eat guava, you'll get appendicitis

That was a long time ago, so now when I eat guava, I juice it first. Drinking it is more practical, simpler, just sip it. Or my friends here, especially the women, like to chatter.

Eat jicama, your skin can be white, smooth, and glowing. But, until now I don't know if this myth is true or not.

After I searched for information on Google, it's actually more of a myth. Because in the medical world, appendicitis is called Appendicitis.

Appendicitis is the appendix. So, the source of the worms, then the contents of the intestine are inflamed, meaning inflammation occurs in the appendix. So, is it because of guava?

"So far there has been no research, or it has not been said for appendicitis. Then when opened there are guava seeds. So far there has been none. It could be due to inflammation, and inflammation can vary. For example, it must have circulation, and so on. Even if the circulation is good, it becomes appendicitis. Because something goes in and can't get out, it eventually causes inflammation inside, it becomes appendicitis".

Bengkoang Myth

There was a study conducted by Indonesian scientists at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Scientists found that in bengkoang there is an active substance called zipenk. This compound can inhibit the formation of melanin or dark pigment in the skin. But unfortunately until now there has been no research that has found this effect on the human body. Most likely this is a myth about eating bengkoang, or using bengkoang as a face mask can make the skin white, glowing, radiant, that's not necessarily true.

"And in my opinion, whether the skin is white, brown, black, as long as we are still healthy, that's the most important thing. And besides, if the skin is brown, it seems more exotic.

For those of you who have a history of stomach ulcers, you should reduce your consumption of oranges, even though oranges contain high levels of vitamin C. Oranges can increase stomach acid. So, for those of you who have stomach ulcers, don't consume too many oranges".

Cucumber Myth

As women, they usually always believe that there are many foods, or certain fruits that can cause vaginal discharge. In fact, this belief is not necessarily 100% true. Because if we talk about the factors that cause vaginal discharge, there are many. For example, fungal infections, or due to hormonal changes, or it could also be due to a change in the menstrual cycle.

Duku Fruit Myth

Duku fruit can make your throat itchy, or cough. In fact, it is not always true that it can cause this. Although there is a slight correlation between consuming duku fruit and the appearance of a cough, because the duku fruit, which is also known as langsat, contains sap. The possibility of coughing is caused by an allergy to the sap, not the seeds.

Well, to remove the sap from the langsat fruit area, you can peel it, then soak it in warm water for 3 minutes. This hot water will dissolve the sap in the langsat area.

Well, that was all the summary of the myths circulating in society about fruits.

I leave it up to you to be smarter in digesting the information, whether you want to believe it or not.

Greetings always compact.
