The Diary Game [24 February 2023] : Exams, Friday Prayers, Watching Cricket League in Renala city
THE DIARY GAME (24 FEBRUARY, 2023)
The weather was a bit hot today, and I had to go to university today, so I woke up at 7 a.m. as usual and went for a morning walk. Today was my 5th semester final term 1st paper, and I was very nervous because I had not prepared my paper fully.
Since our paper was due at 10 o'clock, I didn't even have a proper breakfast; I just had a glass of carrot juice so that I could fill my stomach a little bit, and then I waited for my university bus. After about ten minutes, our university van came, and I boarded it and left for the university.
As our paper was supposed to start at 10 o'clock, I reached the university a little before 10 o'clock. I was very worried because I didn't remember the paper fully. When I reached the class, the paper had not yet started, but all the children were memorising it, so I also got some time, and the paper I had not memorized, I memorised it well.
Now I was very happy because I had memorised the paper very well, and around 10:15 AM our paper started, and I was surprised to see the paper because the paper was very easy. I thanked God for this. I had no idea that the paper would be so easy for me.
Around 11:00 AM, our paper was finished, and I did all the paper well, and then I went outside to the ground with my friends for some time. All of us friends asked each other some important questions about the next paper so that we can perform well in the next paper also.
Now it was getting hotter, and I had to go back to my hostel because the time of Friday prayer was approaching and I had to perform Friday prayer, so I went out quickly and took the bus from there to my hostel. After going to the hostel, I started preparing for Friday prayers.
Around 1:30 p.m., the call for Friday prayers started, and I left for the mosque to offer Friday prayers. The mosque was very crowded, and many people had come to offer Friday prayers. Then the Imam gave the sermon, and I happily listened to the Imam's sermon.
After the sermon, the Imam conducted the Friday congregation, and I performed the two obligatory rak'ahs of Friday prayer behind the Imam; after that, I also offered the Zuhr prayer, and I went back to my hostel. Then I slept for a while.
Around 4:30 pm, the call to Asr prayer started coming from all sides. I hurriedly went to the mosque and performed ablution and offered Asr prayer. After praying, I then headed to the stadium to play some cricket.
Going to the stadium, I saw that there was a very beautiful cricket match league in which all the famous cricket teams of the city of Renala had participated. There was a lot of rush in the stadium, and everyone was enjoying the cricket matches to the fullest.
Today was the first day of this cricket league, and in today's match, Renala Qalandar batted brilliantly and won the match. I really enjoyed the first match of this league because the Renaldo Qalandars batsmen played really well. Then I went to play cricket.
We played a match together of about five overs, and we scored 70 batting first. The opposing team could not chase down the target and lost. We won the match by 25 runs. I batted really well and scored 35 runs in 2 overs.
Then it was evening time, and the call to Maghrib prayer started. Me and my friend @zeeshansaqib1 went to the mosque and offered Maghrib prayer, and then we went to the hotel to have dinner. The meal consisted of rotis and potato and pea curry, which was very tasty.
Then we came back to the hotel, and I started memorising my next paper. Around ten o'clock, I went to my bed to sleep, and that's how my day ended. Thank you very much for visiting my post. I'll see you soon in my next blog. Goodbye.
