Education system and structure. 📚
I and my students in class
Greetings to all the steemians in the house.
We are what we as a result of what we know. All we know came as a result of our ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn. That is the reason I perceive education to be the pillar progress and development. Without education, life could have been miserable and unworthy to live. Be blessed as you continue reading through.
Some time ago, I came across a statement that if you want to destroy any nation, you don't a gun or any weapon of such. All you need to do is to destroy their education system, and they are destroyed forever. The reason here is education is the basis for any positive development. It's impossible to experience positive advancement in a country where the education system is poor.
Every country needs professional doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, politicians, journalists, researchers, scientists, and many more professions. Now the question is, with a poor education system, how possible is it for a country to get these professionals? Remember, education is the only thing that can change the story of a country. If you look at it critically, the only advantage that the developed countries have over the underdeveloped countries is that the developed countries invested much in education years ago, and today they are far ahead of others.
No wonder, every country is beginning to focus much of its budget on education. This is because it has become clear to everyone that education is the only way out of bondage. No matter how much it costs, go for it because no disease is more dangerous than illiteracy. My teacher once said, if you think education is expensive, try ignorance.

One thing I know is everyone was born with an empty brain. We all came into this world with a brain and mind that's more like an empty Slade. Whether you are born with a silver spoon or born into a poor family, the brain and mind are all neutral. With this, you now know that whatever knowledge and resources you have, you have them here on Earth.
Talking about meritorious and unmerited, good education knows no difference. All we know in education is equality. If you are born into a rich family but fail to acquire knowledge, money can not save you from moral, psychological, and emotional poverty. And so it is with someone born into a poor family. Remember, education knows no class, culture, race, belief, or tradition. As such, priority should be given to both the meritorious and the unmerited. Anything outside of this is a bad education system and it can not save a country.
Permit to start by saying that education means everything in human life. There is absolutely nothing we are enjoying today that did not come as a result of education. Education affects even the way we talk, walk, dress, think, eat, and relate with people. Have you asked yourself why our generation is far ahead of that of our forefathers? The reason is, that the level of education we have today is far ahead of their own. Science and technology came as a result of education. Today we have everything needed to enjoy life and have fun.
In life, there are 2 kinds of people. The educated and the uneducated. The well-being of a country depends on the majority of the kinds of people in it. If the number of the educated is more than the uneducated, society has a high chance of making progress. But in any society where the number of the uneducated is higher, the society can only experience backwardness.
The only things that a lack of good education offers are
- under-development
- Violence and crisis
- Inequality
- Religion and ethnic biases
- Racism
- lack of moral discipline. etc
In essence, no society has a chance of surviving without education. The day that a country fails in its education system, that's the day that the country stops existing. Peace, harmony, and development will be far away from any country that fails in its education system.
I invite @simonnwigwe, @patjewell, and @josepha to participate.

@sarahayuba
Greetings dear its education is a major platform and foundation on which any prosperous and successful society can be built on, so the meritorious as well as the unmerited should be treated as equal so that they can fully achieve a better future this is true in the sense that education is not confined in any geographical locations and can be transferred to anyone meaning it has no bounds thanks for sharing wish you best of luck
Estimada amiga. Tienes toda la razón en mi país se han dedicado a destruir la educación y hoy por hoy tenemos una sociedad destruida y un sistema educativo en el sueño. Esperemos en Dios que pronto todo cambie. Te deseo éxitos y bendiciones
I'm so sad to know your education system is not on the right path. Trust me, we are facing the same situation here in Nigeria. May God help us to overcome this challenges.
