S4B Crypto Contest - Season 23
Which cryptocurrency is the most stable for long-term investment?
Currently, there are thousands of cryptocurrencies on the exchange, in fact we are almost confused about the usefulness of the many types of cryptocurrencies. Well, as someone who lives with cryptocurrency today, I think there is only one most stable cryptocurrency for long-term investment.
That cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, as we all know that Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency in the world and its value can still grow well until now.
For me, the most stable cryptocurrency and its value that will continue to increase every year is only Bitcoin, because the stock of Bitcoin is limited to only 21 million coins. Therefore, I have a big ambition to have some Bitcoin that I will never sell in long-term investment in my future.
What are the main advantages and disadvantages of crypto in retirement planning?
There are many advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrency if we want to use it for retirement planning. If the cryptocurrency that is saved for retirement funds is Bitcoin, then there are no disadvantages at all.
I can even guarantee, all assets in the world are no better than Bitcoin to save for retirement funds because Bitcoin was created to be immortal and its price will continue to increase, and if we know how to use Bitcoin properly in Blockchain then we will become richer.
However, if what is saved for retirement funds is altcoin (cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin) then it is a wrong decision because all Altcoins have lost their value except for Etherium.
If the goal is for investment then you better buy Bitcoin, but if the goal is only to speculate for short-term investment then you can buy altcoins with a large market cap such as Etherium, Solana, Ripple, TRX and Steem, because in my opinion currently those are the only 4 altcoins that have good potential for the future.
Will you put 10% of your retirement savings in crypto assets or traditional assets? Why?
Currently almost 90% of my assets are in the form of cryptocurrencies and I am very comfortable with this, I am never afraid of the price of crypto assets that I invest in going up and down because I already understand the mentality of how the crypto market works.
And maybe for my retirement fund I would be willing to put 80% of my assets in the form of cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin. Because what I am currently doing is looking for money in the real world to invest all of it in crypto.
Of course, this cannot be imitated by everyone, I do this because I understand what cryptocurrency is and the risks for myself and I have also prepared an emergency fund for those risks.
