I have more than a reason for choosing Facebook as my best platform to promote steemit.
Firstly, Facebook is the most accessible platform. With this, you are sure of reaching more people even if you don't have much followers. And if you're using any of Facebook's paid promotion plan, then be rest assured that Facebook has the cheapest and your promotion content gets to reach more people.
Next is the type of content. On Facebook, lots of users just scroll up and down looking for something new to try. So it's like more of an ads/promotion platform. Your type of promotional content will so suite the platform that lots of people will want to navigate to the site.
Since the goal of the promotion is to get more members, then Facebook is the main option to use. We want more users and investors, we go to Facebook!!

Yess, we promoting and sharing on other platforms is the best way to add to the value of steem coin and to increase it popularity.
Introducing steemit as a place where good investment can be done, or a good write-and-earn reward platform, new people are likely to get attracted to the platform and will also want to try it out.
Using this now, the steemit platform will grow well and more engagements will continue to happen, more users will wanna join and the community will become stronger and stronger as this happens.
Sometimes, when you post and share the link of your post on other platforms, it reches more people, and with that, lots of people would wanna read your post, so make it a good article. This will being them to the steemit platform. From there, they might start a survey on the platform and starts getting interested in it.
