I am delighted to join the contest by @memamun based on the lovely theme: ‘Share Your Ideas about Love.’ Love in any form is essential for living life and is an incredible feeling that inspires us and unites people. The love which exists in the relations with family, friends or a life partner is wired in a way to make us feel connected on a more profound level and offer us support and meaning in life. I invite you to read this post in which I will write about love using personal experiences; also, you will learn about the benefits of love and how it enriches our lives.

As for me, love is the kind of close-knit relationship that includes trust, respect, and willingness to support each other. It is present in the little things such as someone smiling at you, someone following through with a gesture, or simply listening to you. Love is not an isolated event of giving presents or going out for dinner but it’s being that part of the life of each other and accepting the imperfection of each other. It is the arrival to the conclusion that no matter what, we will support one another and form a lifelong partnership. Love is a beautiful thing, which is without any condition; it is something constant that enriches one’s life.

✅ You have to feel love, do you think the one you feel comfortable with is love? Or the one you present yourself in front of is love?

As for me, love has much more meaning and does not coincide with the feeling of comfort or presence of such a person. Love is a very strong bond that consists of care and interest observed by two people. It is the psychological state when a person can be open with regard to his or her emotions and moods, and nobody will scold, criticize or punish him or her for that. The maxims of the love do mean displaying the best part of one and the other, love means embracing all the imperfections and standing with each other.

Love to me is being comfortable around that person and also being able to express myself around the person. Both of these are crucial components of a loving relationship and without either and both, you just do not have the glue to make a long-term bond stick.

✅ Family or friends, love is different for everyone, do you think you should ever sacrifice something for love??

To me, love is always worth it and sometimes it calls for sacrifice, but it should not be a sacrifice of the self or for harm’s sake. If we really do care for a person whether it comes to our family, friends, or perhaps a partner, we do change for the sake of their happiness. However, such sacrifices should be equal and should not be one-sided.

Love is not about losing yourself or compromising on your dreams. It means being able to know when to give way to the other person as well as learning how to keep one’s self and personal values in check. In sacrifice for love, one should feel more fulfilled and less burdened, and the attitude in the action, especially from the one being loved should reflect care not imposed pressure. True love to my understanding is where one can have room for both growth and can give a measure of sacrifice but with the knowledge that he/she is being elevated and not degraded.

✅ Who you love, do they also love you?? Those whom you consider an integral part of your life, do they also think the same?

when I am thinking of the people I love most in this entire world, which includes my parents, my husband, my son, and my siblings, I can never complain because the love that comes from them is also the same. To me, love could not be a one-way thing, rather, it is a growing concern where at least both parties have respect for one another and care each for other. And each of them I treat as a part of me, and I am sure they reciprocate the same feelings.

The love that we are talking of is depicted in how we stand for each other in every struggle, encourage one another, and stand with each other in happiness. What gives me more comfort is the fact that I can love and receive that love in return from people I care about. This is what constitutes love as a mutual kind of feeling that one feels for the other, and it’s their way of expressing to each other the kind of love they have for each other and that’s why life is so meaningful: this is a sign of love that is being reciprocated, of how much we care for each other as we share this part of life.
