HIGHLIGHTING A PROBLEM||CLOSURE OF SCHOOLS||EPISODE 1 ||MY OPINION
Assalam o Alaikum everyone! Hope you all are doing well.
CLOSING EDUCATION SECTORS
Today I am going to write about the environmental issue which is leading to the closure of education sectors and restricting markets to early closure of Punjab, Pakistan particularly Lahore City (province of Punjab,Pakistan ).
A HARD QUESTION
The question which comes to my mind is
Is it worth it to take these kinds of steps like closing educational institutions to control air pollution?
In my opinion, NO. The reason behind this which I think is our education system is in a grim situation. The literacy rate of Pakistan is only 58 percent. Most of the young generation of this country is not going to school and colleges.
SITUATION OF OUR YOUTH AND EDUCATION SECTORS
At the same time, we know the education facilities and services in our school. Our youth just needs a reason for not going to school. They are reluctant to come to school. Most students just came to meet other friends and enjoy life thinking that we are just here to enjoy not to learn something.
IRONY OF PEOPLE
Now coming to the main topic, closure of the education system in this way is like a half open shopping bag. There is half a chance of losing your things. Students and their parents take these holidays as a recreational period. They go to restaurants, hotels and to their relatives. The irony is they use cars,buses,etc for this which the government wants to restrict by closing the education sectors.
POINT TO PONDER
A number of brickfields releasing large amounts of smoke are still operational although the government has imposed strict restrictions a couple of years ago. The farmers are still burning the remains of wheat and rice. One can see many vehicles on roads on holidays as on a working day. Instead of living in homes, the children came out to enjoy themselves.
