The Diary Game |19-12-2023| : My day in Review
Trust you all had a good day. Glory be to God for today's journey of mercy.
Often my routine on the platform is to give a review of how I spent my day. Here is a review of how I spent my day.
Beep Beep [🛌]
I woke up around 5:30 pm, all thanks to my alarm clock which I have always scheduled to beep by 5:30 am every day. All glory be to God I woke up healthy and sound.
I went ahead to the mosque to pray Subhi prayer at around 5:35 am, praying to Allah Subhanawataala for journey mercy, and favor for the day. I left the mosque by 6:00 am, headed home, got home took my bath, and around 6:30 am, off to work.
My workplace is at Apapa station of the Nigeria Railway Cooperation. I lived around the Badagry side of Lagos State. Board a bus going to Mile 2, got to Mile 2, and took a bus down to Apapa.

Getting to the station, all passenger going to Ijoko Ogun State axis has left with the train and the station is empty at the moment because other passengers waiting to go with the train will have to come back to the station in the evening. My job as a Traffic commercial officer is to supervise operations in the station. Waiting for my colleagues to come over I took most of my free time to walk around the station and take pictures.

I left the office for my home at around 1:00 pm and took a snap of the busy road which is full of heavy trucks and vehicles transporting goods along Apapa road

Got to the pack at exactly 1:20 pm which will take me back to Mile 2 where I will finally board the Badagry bus (my house). On getting there so many buses were in queue waiting to pick up passengers at the rate of 300Naira

Finally boarded one of the buses, a funny one, the bus looked old and tattered, and I prayed to God in my mind to take me to my destination not encountering any problems because I couldn't afford to be inside the scorchy sun.

At around 2:30 I got to Mile 2, still took my time, and cautiously took a picture of the Mile 2 busy road, alongside the blue rail train which was launched some months ago by the Lagos State government. When taking the pictures was watching left and right avoiding those bad boys not to snatch my phone. I fear Lagos boys, they are so cunny. 😆

At around 4:00 pm, I finally got home and I did some laundry because I intend to travel by the weekend and will not be changed to do laundry.
I started washing my clothes by 4:30 pm, I was so fast with it because night was already near and I wanted to make use of the little sunshine to dry off the clothes before I finally spread the next day

After washing my clothes, I rested a little bit to think of what to eat for dinner, then I thought I needed a little enjoyment after a long day, I went to the market and bought catfish for pepper soup stew and got home back at 7:10 pm
Around 8:20 after coming back from Ishai prayer, I started cooking my catfish pepper soup, I washed it with lime and water and removed all dirty parts of it.

After washing the catfish very neatly I added my ingredients and put it on the Gas cooker to cook for few a minutes
After waiting for some minutes, my catfish pepper soup is ready to be served.
Here is how I spent my day and I called on everyone to join me to eat my yummy catfish pepper.

Sometimes, work can be tiring but maintaining good state of mind is the key to overcome it's stress. Pls keep my share of the catfish pepper soup 😀
