Catharanthus roseus is commonly known as bright eyes, cape periwinkle, graveyard plant, Madagascar periwinkle, pink periwinkle, old maid & rose periwinkle, which is a species of flowering plant in the family of Apocynaceae.
It is native & endemic to Madagascar, but usually grown elsewhere as an ornamental & medicinal plant around the globe.
Used medicinally for relieving muscle pain, used for applying on wasp stings & to heal wounds, also depression of the central nervous system. Its application benefits ranges widely from the prevention of diabetes to treatment of stomach ache.

Very beautiful flower, in my area this type of flower has several types of colors, and these flowers usually beautify the grave area and side of the road
