Foxtail Agave 🍃
This Agave attenuata is a species of agave that’s commonly known as the Foxtail, the Lion's tail or the Swan's Neck Agave for its special development of a curved inflorescence, unusually among most agaves.
The juice from the core of the agave plant is used for the production of agave nectar, also a sweetener often used in food & drinks as a substitute for sugar or honey are extracted too. Agave contains fibres which can be extracted from the leaves of this plant & used for making rope, matting & the coarse cloths.
