Rhododendron - Rhododendron arboreum - Deurali, Nepal - April 2021

This flower is widely found in Himalaya region. I took the photograph somewhere in the trail between Deurali to Macchapuchhare Base Camp at Nepal.

It is also known as Guras. Extract from the flowers is used for making wine by locals. We found Rhododendron tea at Pokhra.
