Vila Praia de Âncora - Portugal

Located at the end of a valley protected to the north by Serra D'Arga and to the south by Monte de Santa Luzia, Vila Praia de Âncora is a fishing village full of traditions. The Âncora river divides the beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag: the northern part, where a small pool is formed, suitable for children to play, is bounded by a pier, close to Forte do Lagarteiro and a small fishing port; the southern part, which is accessed via a bridge reserved for pedestrians, is shaped by a dune cord, protected by long wooden walkways.
