Nsonkonee Village

A photo that shows a lovely view of a little village in Ghana. I took this picture while standing on a small cliff in the center of the community. Nsonkonee is a small village in the outskirts of the Bono East region of the country. A young community with a population of about 400 people. Most of its members are subsidiary farmers. They plant a variety of crops ranging from pepper, cocoa, cashew, yam, oil palm, etc. They also have local techniques for brewing some of the finest wines in the country. As seen in the photo, the village is surrounded by mountain ranges, making the place very cold and conducive as compared to other communities in the urban cities. I love to visit this village during my long vacations.
