Scientific curiosity, Supernova

Alpha Centauri are three stars, and the next Centauri is a red dwarf that is much further away from the other two. If one of them explodes, which cannot explode because it does not have enough mass to do so, it would affect us up to 4.2 - 4.4 light years, it would affect us if it were a supernova, but as I said, they do not have enough mass to explode as either a Nova or a supernova.

What they will do like the sun is expand, transform into red giants and expel their outer layers within about 4,000 or 5,000 million years. They are quite stable stars, a shame that they are so close to each other because if they were a little further away they would have enough space to have planetary systems, they are looking for planets between the two main ones, because we already know that the small one has one, at least, but the other two are still being searched.
