Greetings to all the steemites in the world. Here we meet again to meet another great Russian painter, with the aim that his works motivate us to write. For this 91st edition, the guest is Boris Mijálovich Kustódiev.

This outstanding artist of pictorial art was born on March 7, 1878 in Astrakhan. Son of a philosophy, literature and logic teacher.

When he was 15 years old he enrolled in a Theology Seminary. He then abandoned these studies to train as a painter. He was a student of Iliá Repin, our guest of the 90th edition.

The first exhibition of his work was held in 1896.

He visited France, Spain, Austria, Germany and Italy.

From 1905 he dedicated himself to being an illustrator of literature books.

He died on May 26, 1927, in Saint Petersburg (Russia).

Below we present three of his works so that you can choose the one you like the most to write about. the first is titled Walk along the Volga River II (1909), the second, Easter Greetings (1912) and the third The Merchant's Wife (1918).
