New year celebrations are practices that humans employ each time they are celebrating a new year while new year resolutions are the desirable goals or characteristics that one would wish to embraces in the new year. As we approach 2025, people will likely continue to partake in various customs and develop new traditions, but here are some common rituals that people may still follow in the year 2025:
New Year's Eve Celebrations: It will mark the last day of year by parties, reunion and dinner in fine restaurants then dancing as they welcome the new year by firing fire crackers.
Setting New Year's Resolutions: A tradition is to make one’s own plans and New Year’s resolutions for the coming year. These could be sports and body fitness, business and career, self-actualization, social relationships and family.
Making Noise: In many cultures, it is believed that making noise or causing upset in some way helps to counteract evil spirits or bad luck arriving with the new year. This might entail; creating loud noises such as banging pots and pans, blowing horns or even use of fireworks.
