Miss. Lily Walton is a 50-year-old lady who faced many ups and downs in her life. Her parents wanted to marry her at her young age. But the time passed without marrying. However, her parents passed away when she was 35, and she had to live alone.
When she was forty years old, she started a relationship with a man and started living with him in the hope of a happy future. She thought that this man would look after her well. But soon she realized her mistake. He was a drunker, wasting money and time with his friends, and he was also enjoying other women’s comfort without caring Miss. Walton.
But Miss Walton sacrificed her entire life for the well-being of this man. She prepared tasty meals, washed his clothes, and looked after him, but he never even thanked her. She tried her best to bring that man to the correct path, but all were in vain.
One night she faced a lot of bother due to his drinking; she couldn't tolerate more because her limit was exceeded. She gathered all of his belongings, threw them out, kicked the man out as well, locked the door, and warned him never to come back.
Now she only possesses a house descended from her parents. Even though she had no one to live with her, she had one love in her life, and that was her pet cat, Snowball. Snowball was a very big, brown cat who loved to spend most of the time on Miss. Walton's lap and listen to her stories. They loved and trusted each other because they were each other's only company.
After forgetting about that useless man, Miss Walton and Snowbell lived peacefully. She prepared delicious food for both of them and cared for her lovely pet. Every evening, Miss. Walton used to sit by the window with Snowball on her lap and enjoy the beauty of sunsets.
One neighbor came to visit her one evening while she was enjoying the sunset. She knocked on the door and asked, "Miss. Walton! You are alone; aren't you afraid to stay alone?"
Miss Walton smiled, "Alone? I am not alone; I stay with my dear Snowball.
Just then, Snowball jumped onto the table, and teacups scattered over the table.
Miss Walton sighed in response, "Oh! He is too much now. I think I must start looking for another useless man to balance the things."
While her neighbor burst into laughter, Miss. Walton went into the kitchen to bring another cup of tea, with a wide smile.
Even though her life looked peaceful without trouble, this time she was troubled by a cat, not a man.

hello dear @senehasa
Your heroine Lily fell in love with her cat after getting over her ex and both of them love each other a lot, but the amazing thing happened when a new person entered their life, Lily's love and affection for the cat immediately decreased, and the new person probably cast his spell on her, that she started thinking about the need of a new partner more than the cat. This is the nature of us humans, maybe we can never be stable. Or no love can be our last love. Thank you for inviting me.
Thank you very much for reading my post.
