Gracias @solperez por otra tarea de arte y escritura. Debo admitir que estoy un poco desconcertado por la belleza de la obra de arte de Eugene de Blaas, un artista italiano de principios del siglo XX. Brillante y refrescante con una sana sensualidad.

Su autorretrato contrasta claramente con sus otras obras.

Luego de unos minutos de cordialidades y respetos, Lorenzo hizo su pregunta a la madre de Allesandra. Allesandra estaba parada cerca. Preguntó si podía tener permiso para invitar a Allesandra a la feria la próxima semana. Fue un poco incómodo ya que Lorenzo era trabajador y Allesandra era hija del terrateniente.

Pero Lorenzo tenía buena reputación. Fue puntual, siempre limpio. tanto que fue sorprendente que parecía como si acabara de salir del baño a pesar de que era el atardecer y había estado en el campo todo el día. Fue amigable, servicial, alegre, honesto y directo en sus tratos. Tranquilo y apacible. Con buen sentido del humor. Y muy bonito. Simplemente un joven realmente agradable en todos los sentidos.

La madre de Allesandra pensó unos minutos y estuvo de acuerdo en que para ella todo estaría bien. Ella le dio sus bendiciones, pero le dijo a Lorenzo que tendría que consultar con el padre de Allesandra. Pero no vio ningún problema en que Allesandra quisiera ir a la feria con Lorenzo.

Lorenzo se alegró muchísimo al recibir las bendiciones de la madre de Allesandra. Allesandra pensó que era divertido. Encontró a Lorenzo encantador y atractivo. Ella pensó que sería divertido.

Lorenzo pensó que esto podría ser el comienzo de algo grande....

Thank you @solperez for another art and writing assignment. I have to admit I am a bit taken aback by the beauty of the artwork of Eugene de Blaas an Italian artist in the early 1900's. Bright and refreshing with wholesome sensuality.

What might a back story be for this lovely painting?

Let's give the story a title: With my blessings

Lorenzo, one of the village boys who worked in the vineyards had a crush on Allesandra who was born into one of the land owner families. One day Lorenzo stopped by to inquire something from the ladies who were sitting together in the courtyard of Allesandra's parent's home. They had assembled together today as they very often did for a sewing session. Everyone brought what they were working on. Someone had an embroidery project for a pillow cover, someone else a torn shirt to mend and another brought a sweater that needed buttons sewn back on.

Allesandra had come to be with her mother and the other ladies just because it was fun to be with them as they did their sewing and chatted about so many things. A good time to get up to date on what was going on in the village.

After a few minutes of cordialities and respects, Lorenzo asked his question of Allesandra's mother. Allesandra was standing nearby. He asked if he could have permission to ask Allesandra to the fair next week. It was a little awkward since Lorenzo was a worker and Allesandra was the daughter of the land owner.

But Lorenzo had a good reputation. He was punctual, always clean. so much so it was startling that it looked like he had just stepped out of the bath even though it was sunset and he had been in the fields all day. He was friendly, helpful, cheerful, honest and straightforward in his dealings. Calm and mild-mannered. With a good sense of humor. And very nice looking. Just a really pleasant young man all the way around.

Allesandra's mother thought for a few minutes and agreed that it would be alright with her. She gave her blessings but told Lorenzo he would need to check with Allesandra's father. But she saw no problem with it if Allesandra wanted to go to the fair with Lorenzo.

Lorenzo was overjoyed to receive Allesandra's mother's blessings. Allesandra thought it was amusing. She found Lorenzo charming and attractive. She thought it would be fun.

Lorenzo thought this could be the start of something big....
