Para empezar con este post, yo soy cristiana, y respeto mucho la decisión que toman las personas a mi alrededor, pero siempre doy mi punto de vista lo más respetuoso posible. Porque cada quien tiene su opinión, y hay que saber respetar y hablar sin ofender a nadie. Pasando los años y los siglos, las costumbres a cambiando mucho, siempre mis abuelas, tíos y mi mamá, me han hablado mucho como eran los tiempos de antes, y tomando en cuenta como está la situación actualmente, me puedo dar cuenta, que los tiempos no son iguales, algunas cosas han cambiado para bien y otras para mal.
To begin with this post, I am a Christian, and I respect the decision that people around me make a lot, but I always give my point of view as respectful as possible. Because everyone has an opinion on it, and you have to know how to respect and speak without offending anyone. Over the years and centuries, customs have changed a lot, always my grandmothers, uncles and my mother, they have spoken to me a lot as they were in the old days, and taking into account how the situation is currently, I can realize that the Times are not the same, some things have changed for the better and others for the worse.
La amiga @graceleon, nos invita hablar sobre ¿Qué me hace diferente? Esta pregunta, es buena, y es una que nos tenemos que hacer muchas veces, para saber nuestro comportamiento. En mi caso, lo que me hace diferente son muchas cosas, me gusta mucho como soy, siempre hay que mostrarnos como somos, claro sin hacerle mal a nadie, un consejo que te puedo dar es que “Siempre se tú mismo, sin imitar a nadie” será una de las mejores cosas que podrás hacer.

In my case, what makes me different are many things, I really like the way I am, we always have to show ourselves as we are, of course without hurting anyone, one piece of advice I can give you is that “Always be yourself, without imitating nobody ”will be one of the best things you can do.
Ser nosotros mismo, es muy bonito, así nos mostramos amor propio, a veces a las personas les molesta la manera de ser de otras. Cuando yo estaba pequeña, siempre era muy Emily (no tiene mucha concordancia ya lo sé). Si lo digo así, es porque a mí nunca me importaba la opinión de los demás, siempre fui obediente, y alegre, me vestía elegante, pero a la vez con un toque de originalidad. Y algunas personas les molestaba eso, pero yo nunca les pare, porque cuando somos niños, siempre mostramos tanta alegría que no les prestamos atención a las demás personas porque estamos en nuestro mundo.
Being ourselves is very nice, this is how we show self-love, sometimes people are bothered by the way others are. When I was little, I was always very Emily (not very consistent, I know). If I say it like this, it is because I never cared about the opinion of others, I was always obedient, and cheerful, I dressed elegant, but at the same time with a touch of originality. And some people resented that, but I never stopped them, because when we are children, we always show so much joy that we do not pay attention to other people because we are in our world.
Cuando fui creciendo, fueron cambiando algunas cosas, porque cuando estamos entrando en la etapa de la adolescencia queremos imitar, a los artistas e incluso mostrar una imagen falsa de nosotros para agradarles a las personas, y eso no está bien. Así vamos perdiendo nuestra esencia, yo me deje llevar un poco por estas cosas después de que falleció mi papá, me importaba mucho la opinión de las personas. Pero llego un momento que dejo de ser así, porque la verdad es estresante, y menos dejar que te manipulen, nunca dejes que te hagan eso. Actualmente, ya no soy esa Emily de la niñez, pero tampoco soy la Emily que le importaba lo que decían los demás. Me di cuenta de que tengo que ser única y original, ser yo misma, pero sin hacerle mal a nadie, dar mi sincera opinión, pero sin lastimar a nadie, pero sobre todo disfrutar, nunca sabemos cuándo nos iremos de este mundo, por eso siempre hay que tratar de ser felices, y mostrar nuestra mejor cara.
When I grew up, some things changed, because when we are entering the stage of adolescence we want to imitate artists and even show a false image of ourselves to please people, and that is not right. So we lose our essence, I got carried away a bit by these things after my father passed away, I was very interested in people's opinion. But there came a time when it stopped being that way, because the truth is stressful, let alone let them manipulate you, never let them do that to you. Currently, I am no longer that Emily from childhood, but I am not the Emily who cared about what other people said. I realized that I have to be unique and original, be myself, but without hurting anyone, giving my honest opinion, but without hurting anyone, but above all enjoying, we never know when we will leave this world, that's why we must always try to be happy, and show our best face.
Tener empatía, tolerancia, amabilidad y amor, nos harán una gran persona. Sin criticar a los demás, ni juzgar a las personas. Cuando las personas son diferentes no es algo malo, solo que hay que aprender a respetar las decisiones que toman las personas, ellos saben porque lo hacen, y si es bueno o no para ellos. Cada ser humano brilla con luz propia, solo que la sociedad no está lista para esta conversación.
Having empathy, tolerance, kindness and love will make us a great person. Without criticizing others, or judging people. When people are different it is not a bad thing, only that you have to learn to respect the decisions that people make, they know why they do it, and if it is good or not for them. Every human being shines with his own light, only that society is not ready for this conversation.

Hola bella Emily que lindo post, tu y yo compartimos la fe y muchas cosas más. Te felicito de que en tu corta edad estás invirtiendo tus esfuerzos en steemit, es una gran forma de ser nosotros mismos y compartirlo con otros. Me gustaron muchas cosas de las que escribiste
