Loving with strength

The Bible says in the book of Mark 12:30 And you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the main commandment.

I love God when I offer my service to him through prayer, the needs of the world and my own are many, there are abundant reasons to pray asking God for his help and also to give thanks.

The sacrifices of praise for all his wonderful works are another way to express my love to God, how wonderful are the heavens and the earth, the sun and the moon, the sea and the rivers, the birds of the sky and the animals in the earth, trees and fruits, everything is worthy of admiration and praise to the creator.

By prostrating myself at his feet, recognizing his greatness and power, I adore God, accepting my dependence on God and my need for him is undoubtedly a way of manifesting my love for God.

When I put my strength to do something that is for the benefit of another person, I can still say that I am loving God with all my strength. I love God when I practice his justice, which consists in doing good to another, according to what I have the power to act to diminish the need of my neighbor.

To love God it is necessary that I love my neighbor, that I do good whenever he has the opportunity.
