UPON HIS SHOULDER

Christmas reminds us of the reason why Jesus came, to carry the government on his shoulder and to rule over the affairs of men!

Herod understood this and he sought for baby Jesus to eliminate him, for fear of losing his position as a ruler!

What Herod is preventing you from being loyal to Jesus Christ!

It is Jesus’s responsibility to rule and it is our responsibility to follow

God is the owner of the whole Universe, He gave us a manual for this life (Bible) and a perfect example to follow (Christ)

Col 1:17 says “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” NIV

Everything holds together when Jesus is at the center!

The reason why things fall apart is because
~He is not the one in charge od our lives
~His instructions are not being followed
~Our Day to Day decisions are not according to His will but our desires

The major reason why there is chaos in our lives, homes, churches, government, schools etc. Is just because Jesus is not the one calling the shots through men and women who fear God!

People trying to rule by the wisdom of men and not the pattern of Christ
Spouses try to build homes without the Chief Corner Stone

And the reason why peace has so disappeared in the lives of many is because the throne of our hearts are not being occupied by the Prince of Peace

The season is here again, have fun all you want, but don’t forget that Jesus is the reason for the season!

This is the reason why He came

Let Him Rule
