Hello friends, blessings to all!

There is a saying that says "It is not difficult to arrive, it is difficult to stay". Throughout our journey in our life of faith, the Lord can place us in places of honor, in privileged positions that show God's favor in our lives, but there are factors that can cause us to fall from those places, the loss of of the position where he himself took us.

Envy.

Envy took the heart of the light angel created by God, to the point of desiring the position of his creator, that desire in his heart led him to rebellion, thus losing his life purpose and with it his place of privilege in heaven.

Envy can turn you into a murderer, desiring the other's position is an indication of not being happy with the place and position that God chose for you, that attitude can make you lose what God gave you.

We should be happy when our brothers climb positions, my brother's blessing should be a reason for joy and gratitude for you. That attitude can make the difference between your growth, your stagnation or your fall. My brother's blessing is my blessing.

Isaiah 14:12 How did you fall from heaven, O Lucero, son of the morning! You were cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations.

Isaiah 14:13 You who said in your heart: I will ascend to heaven; on high, by the stars of God, I will raise my throne, and on the mount of testimony I will sit, on the sides of the north;

Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, and will be like the Most High.

Isaiah 14:15 But you are cast down to Sheol,b to the sides of the abyss.

Isaiah 14:16 Those who see you will bow down to you, they will behold you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who turned kingdoms upside down?

Isaiah 14:17 that he made the world like a desert, that he devastated his cities, that he never opened prison for his prisoners?

Isaiah 14:18 All the kings of the nations, all of them lie with honor each one in his dwelling;

Isaiah 14:19 but you are cast out of your grave like an abominable offspring, like the clothing of the dead who have been slain by the sword, who have descended to the bottom of the grave; like a trampled dead body.

Disobedience.

God ordered Saul to exterminate the enemy, but Saul decided to take the best of the cattle thus disobeying a direct order from heaven; that decision resulted in the kingdom being torn from his hand.

Disobedience can cause you to lose the place of privilege and honor that God gave you; submitting and obeying God in subjection can be the anchor that keeps you firm in the opposition that God chose for you. It's God's way, not your way.

1Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said: Is the LORD as pleased with burnt offerings and victims as with obeying the words of the LORD? Surely obeying is better than sacrifices, and paying attention than the fat of rams.

1Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is like a sin of divination, and self-will is like idols and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he also has rejected you from being king.

Haughtiness and arrogance

Nebuchadnezzar's haughtiness and arrogance caused the kingdom to be torn from his hands, falling from the place where it was positioned.

Haughtiness and arrogance can make you fall from the place where God placed you, recognize that it is not your skills, your knowledge or your sacrifice that took you to the place you have today, it can make the difference between falling and maintaining your position, all the glory. belongs to God.

Daniel 4:30 the king spoke and said: Is not this the great Babylon that I built for a royal house with the strength of my power, and for the glory of my majesty?

Daniel 4:31 The word was still in the king's mouth, when a voice came from heaven: It is said to you, King Nebuchadnezzar: The kingdom has been taken from you;

Daniel 4:32 and they will cast you out from among men, and your habitation will be with the beasts of the field, and they will feed you like oxen; and seven times will pass over you, until you recognize that the Most High has dominion in the kingdom of men, and he gives it to whomever he wants.

If we listen to the advice and do not underestimate his word, this attitude will be decisive to be able to successfully preserve the place that God assigned us.

Blessings!
