REST IN CHRIST, Mathew 11:28-29

When the Lord Jesus calls on those heavily loaded to come to Him for rest, He is not communicating just physical rest, but more of spiritual rest. He was communicating about the rest found in salvation, that is the rest in the grace He freely offers. Talking about heavilly burden, He reffered to those still trying to work out salvation by themselves(religion) hence that is a burden because salvation is not by works. He therefore calls on such people who have not confess and beleive in Him to spare the unfruitful toiling and enter God's rest freely and fotever. God resting during creation do not comminicates that He was wearry, but was an indication that though man will sin and and get into toiling, He will still provide a resting place for man which is now in Christ. Call on His name today, confess and beleive in Jesus for your salvation. Further studies; Revelation 3:20, Roman 10:9, 1John 14:6.
