I sometimes ask myself what do l stands for ,what is my identity. Have you ever asked yourself this question.
Jesus asked his disciples a simple question When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
Even though Jesus knew his identity yet He requested.

IDENTITY

The english dictonary explains identity as

• A name or persona—a mask or appearance one presents to the world—by which one is known.

• The difference or character that marks off an individual or collective from the rest of the same kind, selfhood, sense of who something or someone or oneself is, or the recurring characteristics that enable the recognition of such an individual or group by others or themself.

Our lord Jesus christ remebered his people about what needs to be use a recognition points.Peter gave the answer ,you are christ, the son of God.
Through his work peter got inspiration of who Jesus is?

Your work talks more about your identity.The work of Jesus defined His personality and lordship.

• His healing power

• His teaching especially ,the parables

• His way of questioning and amswering

• His way of solving problems

Some the things we do must define as whether we are for the lord or for the world.Whether we are for heartchurch or just passing through.

Let the world define our identity us children who stand in the name Jesus christ.

Ask yourself what do people even say I am.

Let christ like attitude run in you before you seek for your answer...
