Hello, my Dear brothers and sisters
I don't know how 2021 was for you,
I don't know the pains you've been through,
I don't know what life threw at you,
I don't know how difficult it was for you to walk through the year!
I don't know the feats you attained,
I don't know how massive your exploits were,
I don't even know how much progress you've made in life and Destiny!
“Since last year ended. It showed me that nothing is ever promised- not health, not wealth, not time, not hands, not life, not people, not stars, not lines. We are bare. Nothing is actually ours.
All of these are expiring without any flash warnings or label indications. You have also been so tired- chasing the wrong train, going on opposite stations, locking another room in your heart, eating on an empty dinner table. It's all okay that it's not all okay. I love you- defects included. We will do this again, and we will do it together. We will sleep at first light and run for the hills at moonrise.
We will camp out at wrong directions. We will be lonely, but we will find peace within the lonely. We will set our tent in our backyard and watch the moon until it fades from our view. We will sleep under the chandelier of stars.
It hasn't been easy for me too, but we will be okay. We will order for to go and eat at some parking lot. We will make an art out of the things we can't change. We will define what we want to keep and leave no seat for guessing.
We will not waste time, because last year made it hurt so bad that we learned to spill more. We learned we'd be happier if we allow ourselves to just be because tomorrow isn't guaranteed.
We will be each other's confession room with no judgements past the ceiling. We will have good sceneries. We will be in a car going home. We will begin like we never have met the end.”
But this one thing I know, and I want you to hold unto as we are in the new year;
GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE!
He is right there by your side, and as long as you give Him space, Trust me, He'll take the wheels!
Be rest assured that GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE!
