WHO NEEDS SALVATION?

Salvation as we have seen is the only way or means God has put in place to rescue his fallen creature (man) from destruction. It is true that many people are arguing that it was only Adam and Eve that need salvation for their souls against God. But they forget to understand that sin has both spiritual and physical implications. As the head of all human races, Adam transferred his sinful nature to his descendants; Gen. 5:3, Rom. 5:12.

The following passages confirmed this: Psa. 53:2-4, Psa. 51:5, Rom. 3:23. By nature, every human being inherited sin from Adam, and this sinful nature is called inbred sin, old man, flesh, carnal nature etc. Paul the apostle described how he struggled with this corrupt nature in Rom. 7:15-23. And he lamented for his inability to free himself from this nature of sin vs 24, finally he thanked God that it is only Christ that has the power to set him free vs 25.

This nature of sin manifests through our conducts as we can see in Gal. 5:19-21. Is there anybody who will say he is free from all these? Matt. 1:21; that is why He is called the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. Jn. 1:29 his mission on earth was to seek and to save those who will accept him into their lives. Are you one of such people? Or are you one of those who argue that you do not need salvation? If you say you have not sinned, you make God a liar who says that all have sinned and come short of the glory.
