JESUS HUNG ON A TREE, TOOK YOUR CURSE AND GOT YOU BLESSED.

The scripture says anyone who is hung on a tree is under a curse. So, Jesus hung on the tree, took the curse and released the blessing to you.

"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree". Galatians 3:13

This action has brought the blessing that God promised to Abraham to all people. Christ died so that by believing in Him, we could have the Spirit that God promised.

So why would you live your life under the curse rather than the blessing? Jesus died and Rose from the dead that you might be blessed. Is the law bad?

No! Romans 7:12 tells us that the law is not bad. The law is holy. It is perfect and divine. But the problem with it is that you cannot keep it. If you cannot keep it, God cannot bless you.

So God decided to take you out of the equation. He decided that He will keep it Himself on our behalf. So we are the sleeping partners. He paid the full price; He did it all and ours is to enjoy the benefits therein.

The Church of Christ over the years has preached the law. No wonder evil is increasing in the world today. Thank God for the new sound of grace coming to the Church. It is a new sound, so that the Church may be established in grace.

So that the Church may know: that it's not by power nor by might. It is about what Jesus did. It is His obedience that the Father is looking at. Amen.
