Seguramente, ante esta pregunta, cualquier cristiano que se precie de amar y seguir a Cristo, contestará de forma entusiasta un rotundo ¡Si! pero cuando se formula la pregunta de otra manera, la respuesta puede ser distinta y convertirse en tibiezas y titubeos ¿Es Jesucristo Rey y Señor de cada aspecto de mi vida? ¿Es Jesucristo Rey y Señor de mi vida personal, de mi vida laboral, de mi vida familiar, de mis pensamientos, de mi voluntad, de mi vida marital, etc...?   Que nadie se confunda, el Reino de Jesús no es un reino opresor, todo lo contrario, es un Reino liberador, porque es en Cristo que podemos liberarnos de la esclavitud del pecado. Estamos llamados a ser coherentes con el Evangelio en todos los ámbitos de nuestra vida, no seamos como los rebeldes sin causa, más bien dejemos al Señor habitar y gobernar en nuestro corazón con Su Palabra; Él es un Rey justo, misericordioso y su ley es el amor, es sólo bajo Su gobierno, que podemos convertirnos en verdaderos instrumentos de bendición y de santificación. Perseveremos sinceramente en Cristo para que un día podemos decir, tal cómo dijera el apóstol Pablo, "...No soy yo quien vive, es Cristo quien vive en mí" (Gálatas 2, 20).
