ONE OF THE DEVIL'S TRICKS

Hello! Beloved brothers and sisters,I hope you are doing well ,today I want to share with you what was revealed to me from this familiar chapter of the Bible we all know
I believe we have all heard At least once about how the devil tempted Jesus after he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights,
I have heard this story since I was very small in nursery school and in Sundays school but I never had this one knowledge.
The Bible in Matthew Gospel recorded,permit me to paste the details

Luke.4.3 - And the devil said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread."
Luke.4.4 - But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."'
Luke.4.5 - Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Luke.4.6 - And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.
Luke.4.7 - Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours."
Luke.4.8 - And Jesus answered and said to him, "Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve."'
Luke.4.9 - Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.
Luke.4.10 - For it is written: "He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,'
Luke.4.11 - and, "In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone."'
Luke.4.12 - And Jesus answered and said to him, "It has been said, "You shall not tempt the LORD your God."'
Luke.4.13 - Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.

You see how Brother Luke recorded this event,one thing that got my attention as i was studying and reading this is how the devil in his corning way choosed to use the very same thing Jesus used to tempt Him(Jesus)

In the first two temptations we see how the Jesus often used scripture to bounce back whatever the devil said,
So the devil in his trick decided to use scripture too in chapter 4:10
I see that this same thing happens in our lives today sometimes the devil will not use things you hate to tempt you,he will use the very thing u like and use,sometimes he might not use what sounds obviously deceitful to tempt or deceive,he might use a very clear fact that nearly sounds like the truth if not properly digested,

Some times he may not use unbelievers to tempt you or entice you,he can make use of even believers to tempt you or drag you to do wrong

We all have to be very sensitive to know that its not every facts that are true depending on the context ,so we should not be ignorant of the devil's devices at anytime,
And i know we well always overcome because our Lord Jesus overcame..
