But we have become accustomed to remember God only when we are in need of healing, in trouble and of course He hears us and responds according to His will which is pleasing and perfect.

Now in the second part of the verse it says "and I will teach you great and mighty things which you do not know". So is our God, He has the ability to show us things that are hidden from our eyes, but in God's eyes nothing is hidden. So let no one deceive us, if we are going through situations that we do not understand, if you feel that someone is deceiving you, cry out to God! And He will show you the truth.
Let's remember Gideon and the test of the fleece (Judges 6:36-40). Let God speak to us, let Him be the one to direct us, let God be the one to show you truths you don't know.
