Los ídolos estorban / Idols are a hindrance

“No te inclinaras a ellas, ni la honraras porque yo soy Jehová, tu Dios fuerte, celoso, que visito la maldad de los padres sobre los hijos hasta la tercera y cuarta generación de los que me aborrecen.” Éxodo 20:5 .
En nuestro andar con Cristo experimentamos la caída de muchos ídolos que cargamos muy bien guardados en nuestros corazones, donde el trono de Dios lo compartimos con aquellas cosas y personas que no queremos dejar ir, nos apegamos a ellas de tal manera, que aun sabiendo que nos dañan, seguimos aferrados a no apartarnos de lo que nos detiene, nos amarga. Ciertamente el Señor nos libertó, pero en muchos casos mantenemos a Egipto escondido en nuestras vidas, solo cuando nos permitimos oír la voz esperanzadora de Dios y comprendemos lo que significa la libertad en Cristo, logramos experimentar el gozo y la plenitud de Dios en nosotros. Tenemos muchas batallas que librar y corremos el riesgo de errar el blanco.
La televisión, las redes sociales, cierto tipo de personas nos pueden apartar de nuestra relación con Dios, nos roban el tiempo y el enemigo que no duerme, sabe muy bien aprovechar el más mínimo descuido.
“Yo, soy Jehová tu Dios, que te saque de la tierra de Egipto de la casa de servidumbre.” Éxodo 20:2 .
Dice que nos sacó, estamos fuera de la casa del esclavizador, fuimos alumbrados con su verdad, sacados del pozo oscuro de la ignorancia.
"No te inclinaras a sus dioses ni los servirás, ni harás como ellos hacen; sino que los derribarás del todo y despedazarás enteramente sus estatuas." Éxodo 23:24
El Señor dice, no lo hagas y nos manda a derribarlos, a despedazarlos. Somos nosotros que tomamos la decisión de apartarnos de lo falso para seguir lo verdadero y las bendiciones del Señor caerán como lluvia fresca y abundante y el número de nuestros días será cumplido. Cuidemos esa libertad que el Señor nos ha dado. El no compartirá su gloria con nadie. Estamos oyendo truenos y relámpagos donde está el sonido de la trompeta de Dios, pero no es para morir, sino para estar preparados, es un sonido de emergencia para que su pueblo se limpie de todo pecado de idolatría y entremos en la santidad de Dios, recuerden sin santidad nadie verá al Señor. Dios sublime y portentoso.

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Exodus 20:5
In our walk with Christ we experience the fall of many idols that we carry very well kept in our hearts, where we share the throne of God with those things and people that we do not want to let go, we become attached to them in such a way that even knowing that they harm us, we continue to cling to not move away from what holds us back, makes us bitter. Certainly the Lord has set us free, but in many cases we keep Egypt hidden in our lives, only when we allow ourselves to hear the hopeful voice of God and understand what freedom in Christ means, we are able to experience the joy and fullness of God in us. We have many battles to fight and we run the risk of missing the target.
Television, social networks, certain types of people can take us away from our relationship with God, they steal our time and the enemy who does not sleep, knows very well how to take advantage of the slightest carelessness.
I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Exodus 20:2
He says he took us out, we are out of the house of the enslaver, we were enlightened with his truth, taken out of the dark pit of ignorance.
An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. Exodus 20:24
The Lord says, don't do it and commands us to tear them down, to tear them apart. It is we who make the decision to turn away from the false to follow the true and the blessings of the Lord will fall like fresh and abundant rain and the number of our days will be fulfilled. Let us guard that freedom that the Lord has given us. He will not share his glory with anyone. We are hearing thunder and lightning where is the sound of the trumpet of God, but it is not to die, but to be prepared, it is an emergency sound for his people to be cleansed of all sin of idolatry and enter into the holiness of God, remember without holiness no one will see the Lord.
