No More Vanity

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, — Ephesians 4:17 (KJV)

Beware of the vanity and illusions of the world system. Beware of the vanity of self gratification which the world calls ' Self love '. Beware of the vanity of wealth accumulation. Beware of the vanity of self justification. All these comes from the vanity of worldly mindset. Never be tempted to walk in the vanity of these illusions.

Brethren,don't be carried away by how people live their lives,you can live differently. You can live like Christ and risk appearing odd. You can set the pace of a Christ-like lifestyle among the people in your school,workplace,church ,family or community. God put you there at a time like this, to make a difference through the way you live. Don't try to fit in,stand out for Christ, because it's worth any pain that may come as a result.

Are you already buying into their mindset and on the verge of compromising Christ's standard? Make a u-turn today. You can't risk losing God's presence just for the world to be happy with you. Reinforce your commitment to stand strong in Christ today, and you'll ever be happy you did.

Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us the truth, your word is truth. Please help us to overcome the vanity of this age and stand out for you, in Jesus name. Amen.
