CHRIST MUST REIGN IN OUR LIFE

The Christian's walk is full of diversity, represented in ascents, descents, of smooth but also rugged terrain, in the midst of which we must decide if Christ reigns in our life.
In the midst of offers that compromise our faith, we must determine how we will act. Those who decide to give free rein to their carnal desires are simply saying: ** God, I'm the boss. **
But the natural man does not perceive the things that are of the Spirit of God, because for him they are foolishness, and he cannot understand them, because they have to be discerned spiritually "(I Cor. 2:14).
"On the other hand, the spiritual one judges all things; but he is not judged by anyone" (I Cor. 2:15).
"So that I, brothers, could not speak to you as spiritual, but as carnal, as children in Christ" (I Cor. 3: 1).

Making the decision to separate ourselves from sin to please and honor God is sometimes difficult, especially when we are faced with proposals that seek to improve our quality of life. For example: if we are faced with the opportunity to earn a lot of money, but in an illicit way, that is where it will be shown whether Christ reigns in our entire being.
It is very sad to look at people who go to church, others may be part of a ministry, musicians or leaders, but they give in to temptation. Some drink alcohol, others watch pornography, others lie, and the cause of all this is due to the fact that Christ is not enthroned in their lives.
The Direction of the Spirit. "For all who are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God" (Rom 8:14). The spiritual man is led by the Spirit. Learning to follow the Spirit is a process as well. As we learn to follow Jesus, we also learn to feel the leading of the Spirit. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). To continue we need to listen and we cannot listen if we have not crucified our carnal life.
A life in which the Spirit of God dwells is daily Honoring the name of the Lord in all areas. The Word of God does not give a call to be pure and holy in all our way of living, the lukewarm God will vomit out of his mouth. It is time to totally surrender our life to Christ. With love @glori1612
