The True Meaning of Enjoyment
Enjoying is when we feel pleasure in something we do, but we must inquire into the depths of this concept, because it does not mean that the one who has pleasure doing evil is enjoying it, because that is a type of Machiavellian pleasure that later ends in negative emotions.
It is important to know the true meaning of pleasure, of enjoyment, for example you have a family and you enjoy it, it is a real pleasure to serve them, arm them, share with them and it is something that always generates happiness, tranquility and joy, so it should understand the true meaning of enjoying.
Sometimes I hear many say that they think they enjoy their life, but in reality they do? They think that enjoying is going out, drinking alcohol, being in parties and adventures, but in reality, what happens after leaving all that, are you still happy, are you still feeling joy? If your answer is no, it is because in reality that is not enjoying, it is only a temporary pleasure that the human being gives to his body but after he stops doing it he feels guilt and depression.
To enjoy is to love what we are doing, to feel peace and tranquility, it is to go beyond pleasure and step onto the terrain of happiness.
God has given us endless wonderful things for us to enjoy and enjoy, he has endowed us with the ability to do so and fills us each time with love and passion for it, let us be part of those things that God has given us, let us take care of them and we can always enjoy them.
