I always see Christians that are highly spiritually gifted, I even see ministers, that their work turned to nothing, simply because they were not walking in egolessnes. No matter how much you are gifted, whenever you mix it with pride, it is not acceptable to God. Your want should not be so what you offer to the Lord in ministry and you expect your service to Him be accepted, being ceremonial by the Holy Ghost.
All things that you do in the house of God is an oblation to Him; your service is an offer to God. But God won't accept your offering if you mix it with greediness and selfishness; bombast, pride and bluster. The greatness that's in God's house can't measured by any results that you have accomplished or attained. God oppose the arrogant, but He gives grace to the meek ones" Demure yourself. It is what you have to do knowingly and deliberately practise.
Whenever the thoughts of arrogant arise in your heart, reprehend them. You what you need is either meekness or humiliation. The Holy book are abundant with stories of those that were proud and how they ended up perish. But God don't want us to go in that way. Correct and guide yourself with the Holy book, God's wisdom at all times. As you are born again, you were born to be great, and the fact is; great men are always humble. Keep walking in meekness, because it is a great blessing and the way promotion with God.
