Burdens of life

Life, as we know it is never easy and has never been. Though there are good times, we get happy, we get promoted in our workplaces, we find new love; many exciting things happen in our lives and it sometimes makes us forget that there can be bad days too. We forget the lives we are living now is never stable. We forget we are on earth and not heaven.

Because we forget about this when we are in our celebrating moments, we tend to ask a lot of questions when the bad things begin to unfold in our lives. We ask God a lot of questions when we lose loved ones, when we lose our jobs, when we lose our relationships and all the unpleasant experiences you can think of.
But as Christians, what should be at the back of our minds always is that "this world is not our home" and can never be
This world is full of pain, uncertainties, mysteries.
When you really want to sit down and analyse what life really is, you'll have no answer.
It is fair to others and unfair to some and that's how it's always been.

But mind you, we shouldn't forget that God is aware of all these things going on. The hunger, the pestilence, the breakdowns and all the strange and unpleasant things happening in this world.
He's well aware that as long as we are not with Him in His place, there's no way we will have eternal peace and happiness.
So for now, He's giving us a chance to come to Him, lay our burdens on Him and He will help us.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”- Matthew 11:28-30

God is trying to tell us that there is no joy in this world. You can be happy right now and get sad the next moment and that's actually how things work over here.

This is why God is trying to tell us to lean on Him and cast all of our problems on Him and He will give us rest.
When finances get bad, when we feel heartbroken, when we feel we are so drenched in sin, when we are battling illnesses, when we are depressed, stuck in the middle of nowhere, God is saying we should come to Him.

Going to God as we know isn't just walking around and asking for where God is so you can go to where He is. But having the faith in Him. Having the faith and trusting that God exists and that He is capable of doing everything; that alone can help bring your problems to and end.

If God is the only one we lean on in all our lives, He will never stop being with us. If we abide with Him always, not forgetting to do His bidding, He will also be with us always.

I just want to tell you today that God is waiting kn you to come to Him, it's never too late.
If you have problems that you feel there's no way you can get it off you, just try God and see.
God knows us better than we know ourselves and He can help us with even the things we never thought we needed.

I pray that whatever you're going through now, God will relieve you of your burdens so that you can know His amazing glory.
