Jehovah manifested himself to me long ago, saying: With an everlasting love I have loved you; therefore I have prolonged my mercy to you. Jeremiah 31: 3 King James Version (KJV)

I really enjoy this biblical portion that refers to the eternal love of God for his children and the prolongation of his mercy in the midst of human fragility.

God is a very expressive Father, who manifests what he feels for the being he loves, which in this case is man.
How wide and extensive is God's love? It is so vast and extensive that it never ceases to be, but flows permanently through man.

God has certainly loved us from eternity. Nobody loved God first, to be reciprocated by God. God loved us long before the foundation of the world, that God foreseeing that man was going to sin, God had prepared a perfect lamb, which would slaughter to redeem man from the curse of sin. God first loved us and when He manifested it, He did it in the wise time in which all men would attain salvation in Christ Jesus.

God's eternal love has been in such a way that he did not spare his own Son, but gave him as a sacrifice to redeem man from the curse of sin.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life. John 3:16

That love that God had for us from eternity, was manifested in Christ in the form of sacrifice, so that everyone who believes in Him no longer loses himself have eternal life.

God expressed his love so that in Christ we move to a dimension from the natural to the supernatural, in which eternal life will allow us to enjoy the eternal love of God for all those redeemed with the blood of Christ.

We must develop an intimate relationship with God in which we are aware that God's eternal love for us will remain in eternity when our corruptible body is transformed into an incorruptible body similar to angels and thus we will be with the Lord always enjoying his love marvelous and of the glory that covers the paradise.
