Antidote to discouragement and depression-1.

Have you ever checked research analysis and medical discoveries on the number of people who die annually as are occasioned by Discouragement and depression? Do you realize that a very great number of drug addicts got into the mess of addiction as a result of being depressed? How many people have cut short their own lives through succide because they were depressed and so much discouraged,with their hopes dashed that they could ever have a meaningful life or that life could ever be better for them.Have you considered the number of people that have gone mental because a family member or a loved one was lost or that a relationship was finally broken?How many people have resorted to robbery, kidnapping and prostitution because they consider life as being unfair to them?
The list is endless.But the truth remains that life may never fair to anyone.It is never a bed of roses or a very wonderful journey on a very straight and smooth road.It is always full of ups and downs.From the time of the fall when man fell,life stopped being a rosy thing.You have to work and most times even work harder.
In a time like this when everything is only becoming tougher by the day. A bag of rice is N1, tomorrow it's N2,next it's N3 and it keeps rising.Why won't you be worked when you have bills to pay,fees to pay too,rents to clear and so on?
But you see ,the truth is that problems will never end until the end.But the case is not the same with the children of God.Why? Hear what Jesus said in the book of John chapter 14:27,

#KJV:"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

So there's the possibility that as a child of God,even in the most pressing situation and circumstance, you can still have peace.

Worry, discouragement and depression are tools the devil uses against children of God and once he can get you with any of them,you are gone.
So why not turn to Jesus today,the one who alone can provide true peace even in the stormiest situation.You wealth and connections and Influence would definitely fail at a point in life.Why not co.e to the only one who can never fail.In a time of total insecurity as it is now,why not come to the one who sure can protect you and all you have.
JESUS CHRIST is ever calling and ever ready to accept you, just as you are and even now.why not come to Him?
He says in Revelation 3:20;
#kjv:Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Even right now,He is standing at the door of your heart now,and He is knocking just as He has been knocking since.No matter how bad life may seem He can change it,turn it around for good and give you peace.
