HOW DO WE ENTER INTO OPEN DOORS?
What are the ways to enter the open doors God has prepared for us? Since we understand that, there are open doors we want to enter, there are ways God designa for us to enter into them
David understood this, hence, he said I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving. Entering it anyhow will not bring results.
We shall be looking at four (4) basis ways in which we shall dwell on two today as the other two have been discussed in our previous teachings:
- Thanksgiving
- Faith
- Prayer (Request)
- Work
Our focus today shall be on ‘Thanksgiving and Work’
Why Thanksgiving?? - Isaiah 26:2- “open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in”. This in agreement with Psalm 100:4 “enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise” be thankful unto him, and bless his name”. Thanksgiving is the way to enter into the gates of abundance He has prepared for us.
- Thanksgiving delights God to open more doors; “Bless the LORD. O, my soul and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O may soul, and forget not all his benefits”. The more we thank Him, the more we enter the open door.
The store house of God is full that we cannot finish drawing all the great treasures of the house. The more we give thanks the more we receive more. I feel that one of the ways the devil has short changed us as believers is that he has not made us see reasons to give thanks and if we don't give thanks more we may not expect more. And it is of note that we don't need to plan to enter this open door of our expectation, we don't to wait till tomorrow before we enter.
Psalm 100:4 says “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving” the question is when am i suppose to enter his gate? tomorrow, in the evening or right now?
The answer would be NOW.... I ENTER HIS GATES WITH THANKSGIVING IN MY HEART, I ENTER HIS COURT WITH PRAISE
