Pensar y actuar según lo que Dios plantea que está bien y está mal ellos querían saber cómo acercarse a Dios; querían saber si debían presentarle ofrendas encendidas, si debían presentarle muchas ofrendas y si inclusive debían ofrecerle a sus propios hijos como sacrificios humanos. Miqueas respondió a cada una de estas cuestiones; en resumen, mencionaremos que Dios no requería ni una de estas cosas.

Hay 3 cosas que Dios necesita actuar con justicia, o sea, que usted debería tener una justicia para exponer frente a Dios, tiene que ser una persona justa. Usted no solo tiene que idolatrar la misericordia de Dios, sino además ser misericordioso y compasivo en su trato con los otros. Y humillarse frente a Dios.

Piensa usted que puede realizarlo sin el apoyo de Dios que lo puede hacer sin la salvación de Dios Si supone de dicha forma debemos decirle con el más alto respeto que está equivocado. Pues ni usted ni yo tenemos la posibilidad de llevar a la práctica aquel alto código moral sin el poder de Dios.

Estas 3 actividades o reacciones que Miqueas enumeró en el versículo 8 de este capítulo de la biblia conforman la obra y acción del Espíritu santo en la vida del creyente.
