Metamorphosis, God's transformation of his children//Metamorfosis, la transformación de Dios sobre sus hijos by @carluis777
Do not imitate the behaviors and customs of this world, but let God transform you into new people by changing your way of thinking. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12: 2 (NTV)
Metamorphosis is the process through which the caterpillar must go through to become a colorful butterfly. Paul, known as the apostle of the Gentiles, a man of deep thoughts, of innumerable writings, and of multiple languages, use this term that we know as metamorphosis, which alludes to an absolute, profound transformation, a total and resounding change to the form or state that we have. The word metamorphosis comes from the Latin metamorphōsis and the Greek metamorphōsis. This word is made up of "meta" meaning, (beyond or after), "morph" speaks of (form or structure) and "osis" indicates (actions or conditions).
This moribund world with its tendencies offers behaviors, concepts and ways of living contrary to God, its currents of thoughts run fast to attack mercilessly our faith, its emphasis starts from the external, its essence is to shine everything that can be shown from the appearance when the reality is that God sees is the heart, the internal is what will have importance for God and relevance in the eternal, the external will always be temporary, it will have an expiration date. The metamorphosis of God in our lives produces a change from the heart, from the inside out, a change that arises from the internal manifesting itself in the external. Today God invites us to embrace as personal the recommendation of the apostle Paul, let us allow ourselves to be transformed by God, let us allow ourselves to be changed from our erroneous way of thinking, let God move our hearts closer to Him, and thus be able to verify and enjoy the good, pleasant and perfect that His will has for each one of us.
Here I give you this little video where I was able to capture the visit of the beautiful butterfly, an instrument that God used to remind me of His intention to continue transforming my life.
Filipenses 4:8
