This week I will give a topic related to the world of advertising. I will discuss a platform that is able to implement the Blockchain world with the advertising industry which is two opposite things.

Background
Nowadays we often hear that content creators on Youtube, Twitch, and various other social media platforms have started to earn from the content they post on these platforms. In fact, there are many content creators who have succeeded in changing their lives because of the large income they get from creating content, and not a few people are also starting to follow in their footsteps in order to change their destiny.

These content creators can earn income from creating content on platforms like Youtube because they get rewards from companies that advertise their products on videos from these content creators.
You must often see advertisements when watching a video on Youtube, whether it's advertisements within the video or those outside the video. All of these advertisements are advertisements that are paid for by the advertisers and part of the advertising fees will be distributed by the platform owner to the content creators.
This is a gift because the video from the content creator is able to bring in a number of viewers and see the ads so that later some will be converted into buyers of the advertised product. However, now there is a new problem where the audience who watches these advertisements which should be humans are instead exchanged for bots made with a computer program.
So that the audience is not clean anymore and makes the parties who pay for the advertisement feel disadvantaged because those who watch their advertisement are not humans, but computers that will not be interested in their products.
Verasity Introduction

Verasity is a platform created in 2018 by RJ Mark who is a technology entrepreneur who has been developing hardware and software products since 1996 for various mobile devices such as PC/MAC, Android, and iOS.
Verasity itself is a protocol and product layer platform for e-sports and video entertainment which has the aim of creating a fair video sharing ecosystem for all parties involved in the process of sharing the video to the public, be it the content creator or the party paying for the advertisement. from the video. In addition, Verasity will also give a number of rewards to viewers who watch videos through Verasity's website, the reward will be in the form of a Native Token from Verasity, namely VRA.
As I have discussed in the previous discussion, the problem currently being faced by advertisers is a large number of "fake viewers" circulating on various video player platforms today, where these fake viewers come from bots that are made intentionally. so that the views of a video have increased even though those watching the video are not real people.
So this will be very detrimental to the party who pays for the advertisement because they cannot get maximum engagement and revenue from the advertisements they have paid for.
To solve this problem, Verasity came up with a solution in the form of a Layer Protocol that is able to filter out the fake viewer, this protocol layer is "Proof of View (PoV)", simply PoV is a tool used by Verasity to filter bots that are fake viewers so that the results of the spectacle watched by will not be recorded as one of the total viewings so that the number of shows recorded is only the result of spectacle made by humans, not robots.

To date, Verasity has collaborated with 8 video player platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, VideoJS, Kaltura, Flowplayer, JWPlayer, and Brightcove. From the names of these platforms, there must be several platforms that you are already familiar with, from this we can see that Verasity has been able to attract quite a large number of partners and this also gives a signal to us that this Verasity project is not a project to be played with. The developers are serious about developing Verasity to the next stages.
Copy that, Verasity has also started developing its project into the realm of Non-Fungible Token (NFT). The Verasity developers have a goal where they will use the PoV mechanism on Verasity to store data from the results of the mechanism so that the NFT created will be more valuable and can be validated for authenticity.

Proof of View which is a protocol layer created and used by Verasity. This Layer Protocol is an innovation made by Verasity to fight the rise of fake viewers or bots that are often detected as viewers of an advertisement.
This is something advertisers have become enemies within recent years. According to the latest data, a total of $400 Billion has been spent by online advertisers and 40% of which is only seen by bots, if we convert around $160 Billion is wasted because it is not seen by real people, but bots programmed by computers.
By looking at this data, many advertiser brands are starting to hesitate to advertise on these videos, because they don't want the money they have spent to be wasted without getting maximum results. Therefore, Proof of View created by Verasity is really a new breakthrough in the world of online advertising.
Proof of View has a way of working by utilizing 200 Touch Points and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology, both of which can detect whether the behavior of the person watching the video is a human or a bot by looking at the behavior of the viewer.
Bot viewers tend to have similar behavior to each other, so AI will detect viewers who have similar behavior and in close time.
Creating a VeraWallet Account
After we have learned various things about Verasity, now we will create a VeraWallet that can be used to store and stake VRA Tokens.
Step 1
The first step is that we have to visit the page of VeraWallet and on that page, we click the "Create Account" option as indicated by the arrow in the image below.

Next, we will register the email. Put the email in the first column, then create a password for the VeraWallet account that we will use, and don't forget to check the approval box. Finally, click the "Create Account" button.

Open the inbox of the email we registered earlier to retrieve the verification code that was sent by Verasity. Copy the code indicated by the arrow in the image below.

Next, we return to the VeraWallet page and enter the code into the column provided, then click the "Submit button to continue the account creation process.

Then, we will activate the Authenticator Code, to do this we just need to scan the QR Code that is displayed using the Authentication App that we use. or we can enter the key below into the Authentication App manually.
When finished, we click on the "Next" button.

Take the code from the Authentication App and paste it into the column provided, then click on the "Done" button for the next process.
Step 7
Next, we will backup the code from 2FA. To do this, you can copy the code displayed and paste it into a safe place or you can click on the "Save the code" button below.
Step 8
After you click the button, the browser will automatically download the 2FA code backup.

For the next process, we just click the "Go to complete account" button.

Finally, we will be asked to fill in some data, this data is not KYC but this is just a password that will be used when we will do account recovery if something happens.
We will be asked to fill in first name and last name, then date of birth, country of origin, address, and telephone number. After filling in all these things we click "Submit".

Verasity's Impact on the Advertising Industry
The impact that Verasity has on the advertising industry is enormous, this is because Verasity has come up with a solution to a problem that has occurred for a long time and has not been solved by anyone. There have been many advertisers who feel disadvantaged because of the many bots that are scattered on the internet so that the ads they pay for do not get maximum results.

Kata Pengantar
Saat ini kita sudah sering mendengar bahwa para content creator di Youtube, Twitch dan berbagai platform sosial media lainnya sudah mulai mendapatkan penghasilan dari konten yang mereka posting pada platform tersebut. Bahkan ada banyak content creator yang berhasil merubah hidup mereka karena besarnya penghasilan yang mereka dapatkan dari membuat konten, dan tidak sedikit juga orang-orang yang mulai mengikuti jejak mereka agar bisa merubah nasib.
Para content creator ini bisa mendapatkan penghasilan dari membuat konten di platform seperti Youtube karena mereka mendapatkan imbalan dari perusahaan-perusahaan yang mengiklankan produk mereka pada video-video dari content creator ini.
Kalian pasti sering melihat iklan saat menonton sebuah video di Youtube, baik itu iklan didalam video maupun yang berada di luar video. Semua iklan tersebut adalah iklan yang dibayar oleh para pembuat iklan dan sebagian dari bayaran iklan tersebut akan didistribusikan oleh pemilik platform kepada para content creator.
Hal ini sebagai hadiah karena video dari content creator tersebut mampu mendatangkan sejumlah penonton dan melihat iklan tersebut, sehingga nantinya sebagian akan ada yang terkonversi menjadi pembeli dari produk yang diiklankan. Akan tetapi, sekarang sudah ada masalah baru dimana penonton yang menonton iklan-iklan tersebut yang seharusnya adalah manusia malah ditukar dengan bot-bot yang dibuat dengan sebuah progamming komputer.
Sehingga penonton tersebut tidaklah bersih lagi dan membuat pihak-pihak yang membayar iklan tersebut merasa dirugikan karena yang menonton iklan mereka bukanlah manusia, tetapi komputer-komputer yang tidak akan tertarik dengan produk mereka.
Pengenalan Verasity
Verasity merupakan sebuah platform yang diciptakan pada tahun 2018 oleh RJ Mark yang merupakan seorang pengusaha teknologi yang mengembangkan produk perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak sejak tahun 1996 untuk berbagai perangkat seluler seperti PC/MAC, Android, dan iOS.
Verasity sendiri merupakan sebuah prtotokol dan product layer platform untuk e-sport dan video entertaiment yang memiliki tujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah ekosistem pembagian video yang adil bagi seluruh pihak yang terlibat pada proses pembagian video tersebut ke masyarakat, baik itu sang content creator maupun pihak yang membayar iklan dari video tersebut. Selain itu, Verasity juga akan memberikan sejumlah reward kepada para viewers yang menonton video melalui website dari Verasity, reward yang akan diberikan berupa Native Token dari Verasity yaitu VRA.
Seperti yang sudah saya bahas pada pembahasan sebelumnya bahwa permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh pihak pengiklan saat ini adalah banyaknya "fake viewer" yang beredar di berbagai platform video players saat ini, dimana penonton palsu ini datang dari bot-bot yang dibuat sengaja agar view darisebuah video mengalami peningkatan padahal yang nonton video tersebut bukanlah orang yang sesungguhnya.
Sehingga hal tersebut akan sangat merugikan pihak yang membayar iklan tersebut karena tidak bisa mendapatkan engagement dan revenue yang maksimal dari iklan yang sudah mereka bayar.
Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Verasity datang dengan membawa solusi yang berupa sebuah Protokol Layer yang mampu menyaring fake viewer tersebut, protokol layer ini adalah "Proof of View (PoV)", simpelnya PoV merupakan sebuah alat yang digunakan oleh Verasity unutk menyaring bot-bot yang merupakan fake viewers tersebut sehingga hasil tontonan yang ditonton oleh tidak akan terekam sebagai salah satu jumlah dari total tontonan, sehingga jumlah tontonan yang terekam hanyalah hasil tontonan yang dilakukan oleh manusia, bukan robot.
Sampai saat ini, Verasity sudah menjalin kerjasama dengan 8 platfrom video players yang antara lain YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, VideoJS, Kaltura, Flowplayer, JWPlayer, dan Brightcove. Pihak pengembangnya sudah serius untuk mengembangkan Verasity ini ke tahap-tahap selanjutnya.
Salin itu, Verasity juga memiliki sudah mulai mengembangkan proyeknya ke ranah Non-Fungible Token (NFT). Pihak pengembang Verasity memiliki tujuan dimana mereka akan menggunkan mekanisme PoV pada Verasity untuk menyimpan data dari hasil mekanisme tersebut, sehingga NFT yang diciptakan akan lebih berharga dan bisa divalidasi keasliannya.

Oleh karena itu, Proof of View yang dibuat oleh Verasity benar-benar sebuah dobrakan baru dalam dunia periklanan online.

Membuat VeraWallet
Setelah kita mempelajari berbagai hal mengenai Verasity, sekarang kita akan membuat VeraWallet yang bisa digunakan untuk menyimpan dan melakukan staking Token VRA.
Step 1
Langkah pertama adalah kita harus mengunjungi laman dari VeraWallet dan pada halaman tersebut kita klik pilihan "Create Account" seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh tanda panah pada gambar dibawah.
Step 2
Selanjutnya kita akan melakukan registrasi email, masukkan email pada kolom pertama, lalu buatlah password dari akun yang VeraWallet yang akan kita gunakan dan jangan lupa untuk mencentang kotak persetujuan. Terakhir, klik tombol "Create Account".
Step 3
Buka inbox dari email yang kita daftarkan tadi untuk mengambil kode verifikasi yang sudah dikirm oleh pihak Verasity. Copy kode yang di tunjukkan oleh panah pada gambar dibawah.
Step 4
Selanjutnya, kita kembali ke laman VeraWallet dan masukkan kode tersebut ke kolom yang sudah disediakan, lalu klik tombol "Submit untuk melanjutkan proses pembuatan akun.
Step 5
Lalu, kita akan melakukan aktivasi Authenticator Code, untuk melakukannya kita tinggal scan QR Code yang ditampilkan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Authentication App yang kita gunakan. atau kita bisa memasukkan kunci yang ada dibawah ke dalam Authentication App secara manual.
Setelah selesai, kita klik pada tombol "Next".
Step 6
Ambil kode dari Authentication App dan pastekan kedalam kolom yang sudah disediakan, lalu klik pada tombol "Done" untuk proses selanjutnya.
Step 7
Selanjutnya kita akan melakukan backup kode dari 2FA. Untuk melakukannya kalian bisa mencopy kode yang ditampilkan dan pastekan ke tempat yang aman atau kalian bisa klik pada tombol "Save the code" yang ada dibawah.
Step 8
Setelah kalian mengklik tombol tersebut maka browser akan ototmatis mendownload backup kode 2FA tersebut.
Step 9
Untuk proses selanjutnya, kita klik saja tombol "Go to complete account".
Step 10
Terakhir kita akan diminta untuk mengisi beberapa data, data ini bukanlah KYC melainkan ini hanya sebuah kata-kata kunci yang akan dipakai saat kita akan melakukan recovery akun jika ada sesuatu hal yang terjadi.
Kita akan diminta untuk mengisi nama depan dan nama belakang, lalu tanggal lahir, asal negara, alamat dan nomor telepon. Setelah mengisi semua hal tersebut kita klik "Submit".

Dan selesai!!
Akun VerWallet kita sudah berhasil dibuat dan sudah bisa digunakan untuk keperluan apapun.
Dampak Verasity Terhadap Industri Periklanan
Dampak yang diberikan oleh Verasity terhadap indistri periklanan sangatlah besar, hal ini dikarenakan Verasity dantang dengan sebuah solusi dari masalah yang sudah lama terjadi dan belum bisa diselesaikan oleh siapapun. Sudah banyak pihak pengiklan yang merasa dirugikan karena banyaknya bot-bot yang bertebaran di internet sehingga iklan yang mereka bayar tidak mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal.
Sudah banyak sekali artikel yang memuat tentang hal-hal postif dari Verasity, platform ini juga sudah mampu bekerjasama dengan berbagai platform peyedia video seperti Youtube dan Brightcove yang mana paltform penyedia video ini merupakan platfrom yang sudah besar dan memiliki penggunjung yang banyak tiap harinya.
Bahkan tidak hanya dalam industri perikalanan saja, Verasity sudah pernah menjalin kerjasama dengan Axie Infinity yang merupakan sebuah platform NFT gaming dalam membuat sebuah turnamen esport. Hal ini mebuktikan bahwa Verasity mampu memberikan dampak yang cukup besar di berbagai bidang, terutama di industri periklanan.
Kesimpulan
Verasity yang merupakan sebuah platfrom yang diciptakan sudah cukup lama ini memiliki banyak manfaat yang sudah ia berikan dalam industri periklanan. ia mampu mengatasi masalah utama yang selalu membuat resah perusahaan-perusahaan yang ingin mepromosikan produk mereka melalui iklan di internet, karena mereka sering sekali mendapatkan penonton palsu yang merupakan bot yang tidak tertarik sama sekali dengan produk yang mereka iklankan.
Verasity juga sudah mampu menggandeng beberapa platform penyedia video yang cukup terkenal untuk bekerjasama dengannya, pada pembahasan diatas kita sudah melihat beberapa nama platform yang bermitra dengan Verasity dan dari nama-nama platform tersebut pasti sudah ada beberapa platform yang sudah familiar, dari hal tersebut bisa kita lihat bahwa Verasity sudah mampu menggaet mitra yang cukup besar dan ini juga memberikan suatu sinyal kepada kita bahwa proyek Verasity ini bukanlah proyek yang main-main.

@uchescrib i have proposed myself several times to be a teacher in the community i am an industrial engineer and i have been studying in the academy for more than a year since it started. i can make things better and i am sure i can do it but i think there is someone internal that is sabotaging the community and steemit. but nobody pays attention to what i say until it is too late unfortunately.
Sadly, we have no option but to watch everything unfold.

But I got worries professor, your Homework Posts are usually very lengthy as compared to the way you are also strict in grading us.. a student usually spend as from 24 hours and above in your assignments before submitting it, but at the end you always give very poor grades or even fail grades to them.
Saying this, I have been a victim of this several times, it's really painful spending days on a homework and have the type of grading you usually give to us.. So I plead on you to reconsider the way you usually set your questions because they are extremely very lengthy and requires a lot of research

Totally agree with you. 10 questions takes almost three days to cover. We have other work beside steemit . I would totally avoid it. It's advisable to attend advance homework with fewer questions. You are eligible too 66 - reputation.

What I have observed from the @wahyunahrul's homework is he always keeps 10 questions in his homework, which turn out to be a lot more lengthy homework for students, even advanced homework have 6-8 question on an average. @dexsyluz

Yes. It does not matter that how many questions are there. But these questions must be easy for the student and create no challenge for them. But professor is not online for 4 days and not considering our mentions.
Exactly. Advanced homework tasks are easy to complete because they don't usually require lengthy writeups. Also, their grading system makes no sense to me when we perform the tasks to the best of our abilities.
This has happened with me as well. I would say avoid writting such lengthy work as we are here to learn not to screenshot and paste here every thing. Homework should be skilled based. @uchescrib
