QUESTION NO 1. WHAT ARE DAPPS
Dapps are decentralized applications which is also like other normal apps like Facebook Instagram and Twitter that we use on our phone, but Dapps are quite different from them, because in Dapps, there are no centralized authority controlling it, so it work through p2p system like blockchain does.
Every informationand transactions carried out in Dapps are recorded and anyone can see it. This can make it to be secured. Dapps are under blockchain network that also make use of p2p method.
Decentralized application are open source, where users can see what is going on in the blockchaim abd this makes it essential more than centralized application that are being controlled by moderators or creators, where they can make some adjustments or changes without anyone knowing. But In Dapps, everything carried out are being see by anyone on the network and dapps are free from network issues.
QUESTION NO 2. EXPLAIN THE WORKING SYSYTEM OF DAPPS
Lets take for example, centralized application assuming they have issue concerning network, this will affect all users from accessing the app for a moment and maybe the creator just decided to shut the system down for a moment, this will also affect everyone from using the app.
But in decentralized application, no one controls the system, it works on its own and nothing like sever issue. Everyone have full access to their information. Any transaction going on are recorded and see by everyone. Like i said earlier, it only work with peer to peer method..
Creators of decentralized application also dont havs power over users information or have access to their wallets. Usrs are fully controlling it themselves. This can make Dapps to be very secured. So in all this explanation, i was trying to explain that dapps works on its own and with peer to peer method where no institutions like banks are involved in the system.

Advantages
One of the advantages ot Dapps us that, information are kept in a single area and its hard for a bad guy to temper with it because it is highly secured due to that fact that it's under or work with blockchain technology.
Transactions in Dapps are very fast and easy to confirm.
Dapps also cost low fee when carrying out transaction.
The unique thing about Dapps is that, users have control over their wallets. Like i said earlier in the previous question.
Disadvantages
Not Everyone know about Dapps and is not that easy for users that is new to dapps to control
Transactions are not reversible when it come to decentralized applications. Assuming your sent some money to a wrong address, the money is gone and can't be reversed.
QUESTION NO 5. HOW CAN DAPPS DEVELOPERS PROMOTE THEIR APPS
Well, there are many ways in which Dapps developers can promote their apps ,for example÷
There are many socail media app that we are using today, like facebook Twitter or Instagram. Dapp developers can promote their app through running ads on Facebook, Twitter or instagram and many other social media platforms, so that people can know about it.
Also dapps can be promoted in youtubes channel and sites as wel. There are many users on this mentioned platform, so it will be pretty cool for dapp developers to promote their apps using this method.
Not only running ads on social media, but by making sure your app works fine without having some issues. You must have a quality app, this will be more attractive to people to find your app and start making use of it.
QUESTION NO 6. WHAT SHOULD WE PAY ATTENTION TO WHEN USING DAPPS?
As we know that Dapps are decentralized and have no authority controlling it. So we should be careful with or keys, we should keep it in a very safe place, because it can be restored if we lost it.
Also transferring money or running transaction should be done with care. We should be very careful when running transaction. Mind the address you are transferring it to and dont make mistake , once you make a slight mistake on the address, it can lead you in loosing your money.
Some Dapps are not standard or legit, so i suggest we should pay check the type of dapps we are making use of. How can we know that the dapps are legit? Well, i suggest we should do research to know the legit one to make use of.
QUESTION NO 7. HOW DO WE FIND THE INFORMATION OF A DAPP THAT WE WANT TO KNOW? PROVIDE THE STEPS. (SCREENSHOTS REQUIRED)
To do this, like finding information of a Dapp. I explored https://dappradar.com/ then the homepage displays.
I clicked on the three lines located at the top right side of the page. Then i clicked on search button to search for a particular dapp
I entered the name steemit, because that is the dapp i want to get its information. Then it showed on the page.
I clicked on it and the information about steemit displayed on the screen. Below is the screenshot.
CONCLUSION
The lecture was really a benefitting one. Professor @wahunarul made a womder lecture about Decentralized application and i leaned from it.
