Cryptography

The technique in which we protect our data from unauthorized is known as cryptography. In cryptography, we protect information and communications through code. It is made to save people's data. Cryptography stands for two words ''crypt'' and ''graph'' the word crypt means secret and graphy means writing. That is, we write data that is perfectly secure.

Cryptography is a technique in which we hide our data in encryption and decryption form. In the encryption form, we write data in the form of codes which is not readable. In the decryption form of data, we write data in the form of codes which is readable.

In computer science, cryptography means to write the most secure information in the form of codes called algorithms. Information is exchanged in ways that make it difficult to understand and keep our information safe.

Cryptography provides us with public and private keys. The public key is used to encrypt code and the private key is used to decrypt. With the help of a private key, we can protect our coins from theft.
There are some properties provided by cryptography to secure our cryptocurrencies. Some types are confidentiality, integrity, Non-repudiation, and Authentication.

  • Confidentiality: No one can understand the information for which it was given.
  • Authentication: The sender and receiver can confirm each other identity and origin information.

Cryptography is the best way to secure our cryptocurrencies. It contains information written in the form of code that is very difficult to break. It converts chipper text into plain text.
