It certainly doesn't make much sense to autovote, when you can use that vote to support a publication with more possibilities of getting good rewards, you would gain more both monetarily, as a member of the community, showing a better social behavior. I also understand that, votes are about rating and for this case, we cannot be objective in self-rating.

Steemit, being a social network on a blockchain, offers us many advantages that traditional social networks can't give us, for that plus of implicit learning and inclusion in the world of cryptocurrencies. besides we don't have to pay fees on transactions and it is quite fast, as a blockchain.
