Opensea.io is a largest direct marketplace for storing, buying and selling items like digital art images, and all other crypto collectibles collectibles.

It is now the most visited marketplace for NFT that recently become so popular in the cryptospheres. Opensea.io become so popular because of some reason given below:

Transaction fees in opensea.io is at the lowest because only 2.5% of sales is taken up with no any service fee for buyers as you get what you see with no any deduction.

Opensea.io takes responsibilty of almost 75% of gas fee for it users.
Opensea.io allow the user to set different types of listing for ERC-721 and ERC1155 and even get notice without listing items price and notify the user.

Opensea.io allow user to set a price reserve on their products, where the item will not be undersold.

As the name implies, opensea.io is very open that you can list your products that are on auction in other NFTs marketplace provided that they are in the wallet.

Opensea.io allow the user to sell NFTs in any currency types of their choice
In opensea.io you can have a gas fee free transaction
Opensea.io allow you to accept the highest bid or to even cancel the entire auction.

Only few NFTs marketplace allow to bundles many items to the highest bidder and opensea is one of them that bundle up to 15 items in the auction.

Using opensea.io

To buy NFT, a crypto wallet is required to be set up firstly. We will be using metamask as our crypto wallet and opensea.io as our NFTs marketplace.

To open a metamask wallet you need to download the app from a google play for smartphones or add chrome extension.
Then you need to wait for it to download and do all the instructions at the set up, tick the agree to terms and conditions box and set up a password.

A twelve random words will appear as your seed phrase, make sure you copy and save it somewhere safe, insert them and there you go your wallet is ready to be used. What you would do next is to deposit ETH into the wallet buying and sending fund into the wallet address once all set, as the photo below

Click on the three lines at the top left side of the above screen and it will show as the photo below

And on seeing like the above pic, click on the browser tab and it will show up something like in the below picture

Tap on the search Tab and type opensea.io wait for it to load until it display as the picture below

Scroll down and select the item you want to buy with noting that only one item in any category, then tap on the buy tab as the picture below

Once you’ve clicked that “buy now” button, a pop up box will appear to ask you to connect your opensea to your MetaMask wallet as the picture below

Connect it to finish the synchronization and then it will proceed to check out as in the picture below

Go ahead and add funds, check the terms and conditions box and the approval box to complete your purchase. You can keep or sell your NFT notwithstanding that NFT cannot be kept for longer period.

How to Sell NFT at Opensea

Open the metamask wallet app, Tap on the three horizontal lines at the top left side of the screen, tap on browser and the front page of the browser will appear as in the picture below

Tap on art and collectibles and a window will pop up to select the marketplace for the collectibles then tap on opensea.io as in the picture below

After selecting the opensea.io marketplace a window will pop up as shown in the picture below

The window shows where to explore and create NFT to be sold or put to auction Tap on create and create something as shown in the pictures below

The first photo above shows how to create NFT to add in a collection and when you tap on the create botton, a window will show up where It s indicating the user to insert the image from gallery as in the second photo.

The third photo shows the waiting period for the NFT to be created. The second to the last photo shows how the NFT finalize the creation

The last photo shows how to put the product as available into the market for sale. Where you have to fill out the data and all information in relation to the created item. And don't forget to add charge fee..

Opeansea have a cutting edge marketplace platform

Disadvantages of Opensea

Just like how everything has advantages have disadvantages, opeansea is also facing a great challenge in finding the desired NFT of your choice and also there is need to improve the categories of the search section.

Opeansea is seemingly difficult for a user to find a specific items on their categories. Opeansea is highly and more marketing!
