I am glad to be back to Steemit Crypto Academy after few weeks that i completed the newcomers achievement tasks. Now, i have managed to power myself up to be eligible to take the beginners level introductory courses in Steemit Crpyto Academy.
Here, i shall begin with the task 1.

Explain the difference between [SP, STEEM, SBD] & [TRX, TRC10, TRC20 tokens](with examples)? Explore Coinmarketcap.com to indicate the rank, coinmarketcap, and circulating supply of STEEM and TRX? Which exchange are you familiar with where both STEEM and TRX are listed? Does it cost any fee for transacting STEEM and TRX? How important is the use of Memo while transferring STEEM from Steemitwallet to an Exchange wallet, do you essentially need a similar memo for transferring STEEM from Exchange wallet to your Steemit wallet?

TASK 1: STEEM and TRON

_{Steem blockchain produces three types of tokens. i.e. STEEM, SBD and SP.}

STEEM:

STEEM is a native token produced by steem blockchain. It is a fee-less token and a liquid currency. It can be traded in various Exchanges and always written in capital letters to represent it in order to not get confused with steem blockchain. Like other cryptocurrencies, its value fluctuate.

Steem Backed Dollar(SBD):

SBD is another token created in steem blockchain. It is produced through a process known as Content Creation. Its value is pegged to $1USD, designed in a way that it remains much more stable, unlike STEEM. Because of its stable value, it can be used in various business to price their products and services so that they will not lose values.

STEEM POWER(SP):

SP is one of the three tokens available in steem blockchain. It is created through a process called prowering up. Power up converts one STEEM equals to 1 Steem Power. Once a STEEM is powered up, it is locked in. In return, it gives you more influence on social media platform steemit. For instance, when you upvote the content by holding more SP, you distribute the more rewards to the author and consequently, you earn more curation rewards.
Holding SP has some advantages such as it is always prioritised by reward mechanism, participate in goverance, community building and become a influencer.

_{Whereas, Tron has three kinds of tokens. i.e. TRX, TRC10 and TRC20.}

TRX:

Like STEEM, TRX is a native token of TRON blockchain. The transfer of this token only consumes bandwidth.

TRC10:

This is one of the two standards of token in Tron Network. The creation of TRC10 standard does not need Tron Virtual Machine and its transfer only consumes bandwith.

TRC20:

The another standard of tokens which needs Tron Virtual Machine for its production. Since these standard tokens are smart contracts implementation, they comsume both bandwidth and energy.

Exchanges like Binance and poloniex are the ones where both STEEM and TRX are listed.

Definitely, transacting STEEM and TRX always use computational resources, thus costing some fees. Let us consider a scenario in Poloniex.

Here in above pictures, we can see the fees incurred in percentage while transacting STEEM and TRX respectively.

The use of memo is a must while transferring STEEM from steemit wallet to exchanges. Since, the memo works as an identifier ID based on which the process of transaction takes place. However, while transferring STEEM from exchanges to steemit wallet, the use of memo is not necessery unless you want to send a specific message.
