- The first thing to do when you reach the steam:
Should the new steemain work earlier? Post your first comment? Read the top paid posts to learn how to earn rewards? Upload your profile photo? Answer, none of the above! The first is: Write your master / owner's keys on a piece of paper and keep the paper in a safe, secure place.
Anyone can use your password to log in, transfer money, comment to others, and phishe your friends. It is not enough that you said 'master / owner key'. We will call this long string 'Steemit ID’s Life'. If stolen, dead.
We warn each new Steeamian: Don't use your master / owner key sometimes after logging in to Steemit! Always login with your posting key. It is enough for daily use.
If you are doing something related to your Steam Wallet, use the active key.
When will you use your master / owner key? Only when you want to recover something. Take it on your smartphone as a 'Restore to factory settings' option.
- Introduction of a Steemit Post:
When you come to Steemit, you see a lot of posts but what are these buttons used for? Let's see.
- The importance of the given five keys:
You will be given a set of five individually generated passwords / keys. Keep these keys safe and secure. Each key is designed for different purposes, if you want to know more about these keys, check out these posts:
How do I secure my Steemit account?
The key to steemit: understanding the private keys
Steemit key management
What are these keys in my wallet? Why so much?
- How to set your own profile?:
Your profile information, profile image and cover image can be set on your settings page. A complete profile will get more appealing and more attachments. Once your image has been uploaded, click the Update button and enter your active key.
Here's how to set up a profile, see it here: This is a great post to let us know how to set up a complete profile on your blog page.
- The Three Tokens on Steem:
There are 3 'tokens' on the Steem blockchain: STEEM, SBD (Steem Dollars), and Steem Power (SP)
- Steem Power Delegation:
Power can be given to other people through a process known as representation.
You retain the ownership of Steem Power when you represent the SP, but you give the representative to the person to enjoy the benefits of his voting power and collect Quraish rewards from his use.
SP is very important. Daily posting or direct purchase can boost your SP. So, when you want to get more SP fast, is there a way? Replying to the SP, which means giving your SP to someone else.
People are wondering if the SP assigned to another is safe? The answer is yes. When you represent someone else on the SP, they only have the right to use the SP, but the SP still remains in your wallet which can be withdrawn at any time (the process usually takes 5 days).
After you represent the SP, a first bracket after the SP will appear in your wallet interface, for example, someone's wallet interface shows -2552.794 STEEM, which means the user has delegated more than 2500 SP to someone else.
- How to earn STEEM:
• Create Content
• Freelance work
• Take part in Contests and Challenges
• Lease/Renting out your Steem Power
- How to post?:
@ Easy to post on Steemit, click the button in the top right corner to start a post. Here's a cmp 2020 guide on how to properly format your Steem posts.
@ What are the rewards: 50% SBD / 50% SP?
- How to put tags on your post?:
Up to 5 tags can be added to each post, article tags must be related to the topic. If you add tags that do not match this topic, the steemit large whales will drop it, which will have a great negative impact on the author's reputation and profits.
- How many times can you post?:
The more resource credit (SP) you have in your account, the more transactions you can make. We recommend having at least 20SP for general use. This equates to 2 posts a day and various comments and updates. When you power up, you need to do more SP.
- How to get more STEEM POWER:
The power of steam is the sacred stone of steam. The more you have, the more your influence on the platform. So we recommend running your stem in your wallet.
- Communities to join:
You can check out all the steam communities and subscribe to the one you like.
