Today i am going to complete the Home Work Task of Season 5 Week 8, and task is Related to "Avalanche Blockchain" given by the Professor @pelon53.

Question# 1

Avalanche Network boasts itself as a network who has put great emphasis on the fast transactions, low transactions costs, and being eco-friendly throughout this process. The best part of AVX is that it is built on three blockchains to accomplishing the far-seeking goals.

The three blockchains have been given a separate function each and deals with the three major hurdles of blockchain mass adoption the security, decentralization and scalability.

These are Exchange Chain , Contract Chain (C-Chain), and Platform Chain (P-Chain).

Exchange chain (X-Chain)

As the name indicates the X-Chain or the Exchange chain is the blockchain dedicated to the creating, trading, exchanging of the AVAX coin. The fees on involved in creating and trading the coins is paid in AVAX. There are different modified able standards that allow for the creation of different coins.

Contract Chain (C-chain)

as the name indicates C-chain is dedicated to the developers. It allows for the building up of decentralized apps on the network with great ease. It is compatible to the Ethereum Virtual Machine and thus allow for the creation of variants of Ethereum apps on the AVAX. It thus allows for the creation of smart contracts.

Platform Chain (P-Chain)

This allows for the creation of sub-nets on the main chain. these are the groups of the validators that take part in the consensus mechanism.

We can Explore Avax Network by simply going to link of AVAX official website avax.network and when you land on the AVAS official website this is the landing page you observe.

The main tabs you see here are 'Developers', 'Individuals', 'Press', 'Community', and 'Contact'. You may see much more after scrolling such as the difference between AVX and the other blockchains.

Developers Option

When you click on the developers option you see the following page. Here the developers are able to build applications freely, run validations, mint tokens, and integrate exchanges. this option is basically for the Developers who are working with the blockchain data and crypto currency .

Individuals Option

By clicking on the Iindividual option*, you see the Roadmap, Solutions, Ecosystem, Avalanche Wallet, Avalanche Explorer, and Avalanche Bridge. We see the following interface when we click on the wallet option. To create your own wallet you just have to click on create wallet and follow the further steps.

Click on generate phase to proceed

Avalanche explorer like many other explorers allow you to have an insight into the transaction details such as the addresses and other details.

When you click on open explorer you see the following details.

Avalanche Ecosystem

The Avalanche ecosystem is the hub of features that include DeFi, Digital Securities, Ecosystem, Exchange, Explorer, Gaming, Identity, Infrastructure, NFT, Nodes, Oracle, Payments, Play to Earn, Security, Stablecoin, Tooling, Trading Bot, Wallet, Wealth Management.

As the name indicates it is where you find news on Avalanche network and the community.

Avalanche Hub

it is the interface you find the links to various social connecting sites of Avalanche community.

Question# 3

We can check the last Verified contract in the C-chain Network by simply going to link of snowtrace website snowtrace.io and when you land on the snowtrace website this is the landing page than click on blockchain.

Then click on the verified contracts. Many verified contracts will appear the top is the latest click on to get the address of the smart contract.

The last contract at this time is winter Avax and there are two transactions on this address. This address is

Question# 4

We can explore genrated block in the C-chain Network by simply going to link of snowtrace website snowtrace.io and when you land on the snowtrace website this is the landing page than click on blockchain and from there click on view block.

A list of blocks will appear from there click on the top block. In my case the block weas generated 10 secs ago with 74 transactions.

After opening you will be able to see the time stamp, block address, block height as indicated in the screenshot below.

Question# 5

Avalanche Consensus Protocol

In the past the protocol of distributed system was using which was almost half century old mechanism.

This consensus mechanism is different from proof of stake and proof work in not requiring a leader or head to reach a consensus. Thus, it is more decentralized as all nodes are required to validate the transactions through the functionality of directed acyclic graph (DAG).

Avalanche consensus protocol is just like voting mechanism, all the records about transactions verified by voters, when a transactions performed initially it got verified by a single node on blockchain and confirmed by the rest all of nodes.

This has an impact on making the transactions and block generation more decentralized in addition to that it also addresses the issue of scalability and speed. The transactions are confirmed parallelly and once they are confirmed they are finalized and cannot be changed.

Snowman Consensus Protocol

It is built on the Avalanche protocol and is designed to be an on chain-optimized consensus protocol with high-throughput made for large smart contracts. this is a highly organized and ordered consensus protocol which allows the orders the transactions of a blockchain for better recording and sequencing of smart contracts and transactions in the smart contracts.

Avalanche blockchain is an innovative and goal-oriented blockchain aimed at addressing the most evident issues in the field of digital financing. The scalability, security, spend and decentralization. The protocol is built on three blockchains and works to minimize trx timings and cost. In this post we explore the Avalanche platform, explorer and discussed their different features.
